so soll er sie zum Priester bringen und ein Opfer über sie "bringen," ein zehntel Epha "Gerstenmehl," und soll kein Öl darauf gießen noch Weihrauch darauf tun. Denn es ist ein Eiferopfer und "Rügeopfer," das Missetat rügt.

Then the LORD said to Moses,

"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'If a man's wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him

by sleeping with another man, and this is hidden from her husband and her impurity is undetected (since there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act),

and if feelings of jealousy come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure--or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure--

then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder offering to draw attention to guilt.

祭司長(제사장)은 그 女人(녀인)으로 가까이 오게 하여 여호와 앞에 세우고

土器(토기)에 거룩한 물을 담고 聖幕(성막) 바닥의 티끌을 取(취)하여 물에 넣고

女人(녀인)을 여호와 앞에 세우고 그 ^ㅂ머리를 풀게 하고 생각하게 하는 素祭物(소제물) 곧 疑心(의심)의 素祭物(소제물)을 그 두 손에 두고 祭司長(제사장)은 詛呪(저주)가 되게 할 쓴 물을 自己(자기) 손에 들고

女人(녀인)에게 盟誓(맹서)시켜 그에게 이르기를 네가 네 男便(남편)을 두고 失行(실행)하여 사람과 同寢(동침)하여 더럽힌 일이 없으면 詛呪(저주)가 되게 하는 이 쓴 물의 害毒(해독)을 免(면)하리라

그러나 네가 네 男便(남편)을 두고 失行(실행)하여 더럽혀서 네 男便(남편) 아닌 사람과 同寢(동침)하였으면

Da soll der Priester sie herzuführen und vor den HERRN stellen

und heiliges Wasser nehmen in ein irdenes Gefäß und Staub vom Boden der Wohnung ins Wasser tun. {~} {~} {~}

Und soll das Weib vor den HERRN stellen und ihr Haupt entblößen und das "Rügeopfer," das ein Eiferopfer "ist," auf ihre Hand legen; und der Priester soll in seiner Hand bitteres verfluchtes Wasser haben{~}

und soll das Weib beschwören und zu ihr sagen: Hat kein Mann bei dir "gelegen," und bist du deinem Mann nicht untreu "geworden," daß du dich verunreinigt "hast," so sollen dir diese bittern verfluchten Wasser nicht schaden. {~}

Wo du aber deinem Mann untreu geworden "bist," daß du unrein "wurdest," und hat jemand bei dir gelegen außer deinem "Mann,"

"'The priest shall bring her and have her stand before the LORD.

Then he shall take some holy water in a clay jar and put some dust from the tabernacle floor into the water.

After the priest has had the woman stand before the LORD, he shall loosen her hair and place in her hands the reminder offering, the grain offering for jealousy, while he himself holds the bitter water that brings a curse.

Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, "If no other man has slept with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you.

But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have defiled yourself by sleeping with a man other than your husband"--

祭司長(제사장)이 그 女人(녀인)으로 詛呪(저주)의 盟誓(맹서)를 하게 하고 그 女人(녀인)에게 말할지니라 ^ㅅ여호와께서 네 넓적다리로 떨어지고 네 배로 부어서 너로 네 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 저줏거리, 맹셋거리가 되게 하실지라

이 詛呪(저주)가 되게 하는 이 물이 ^ㅇ네 창자에 들어 가서 네 배로 붓게하고 네 넓적다리로 떨어지게 하리라 할 것이요 女人(녀인)은 ^ㅈ아멘, 아멘 할지니라

祭司長(제사장)이 詛呪(저주)의 말을 두루마리에 써서 그 글자를 그 쓴 물에 빨아 넣고

女人(녀인)으로 그 詛呪(저주)가 되게 하는 쓴 물을 마시게 할지니 그 詛呪(저주)가 되게 하는 물이 그 속에 들어가서 쓰리라

祭司長(제사장)이 먼저 그 女人(녀인)의 손에서 疑心(의심)의 素祭物(소제물)을 取(취)하여 그 素祭物(소제물)을 여호와 앞에 ^ㅊ흔들고 가지고 壇(단)으로 가서

so soll der Priester das Weib beschwören mit solchem Fluch und soll zu ihr sagen: Der HERR setze dich zum Fluch und zum Schwur unter deinem "Volk," daß der HERR deine Hüfte schwinden und deinen Bauch schwellen lasse! {~}

So gehe nun das verfluchte Wasser in deinen "Leib," daß dein Bauch schwelle und deine Hüfte schwinde! Und das Weib soll sagen: "Amen," amen.

Also soll der Priester diese Flüche auf einen Zettel schreiben und mit dem bittern Wasser abwaschen

und soll dem Weibe von dem bittern Wasser zu trinken "geben," daß das verfluchte bittere Wasser in sie gehe.

Es soll aber der Priester von ihrer Hand das Eiferopfer nehmen und zum Speisopfer vor dem HERRN weben und auf dem Altar "opfern," nämlich:

here the priest is to put the woman under this curse of the oath--"may the LORD cause your people to curse and denounce you when he causes your thigh to waste away and your abdomen to swell.

May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells and your thigh wastes away." "'Then the woman is to say, "Amen. So be it."

"'The priest is to write these curses on a scroll and then wash them off into the bitter water.

He shall have the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and this water will enter her and cause bitter suffering.

The priest is to take from her hands the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the LORD and bring it to the altar.

그 素祭物(소제물) 中(중)에서 記念(기념)으로 ^ㅋ한 움큼을 取(취)하여 壇(단) 위에 燒火(소화)하고 그 後(후)에 女人(녀인)에게 그 물을 마시울지라

그 물을 마시운 後(후)에 萬一(만일) 女人(녀인)이 몸을 더럽혀서 그 男便(남편)에게 犯罪(범죄)하였으면 그 詛呪(저주)가 되게 하는 물이 그의 속에 들어가서 쓰게 되어 그 배가 부으며 그 넓적다리가 떨어지리니 그 女人(녀인)이 ^ㅌ百姓(백성) 中(중)에서 저줏거리가 될 것이니라

그러나 女人(녀인)이 더럽힌 일이 없고 淨潔(정결)하면 害(해)를 받지 않고 孕胎(잉태)하리라

이는 疑心(의심)의 法(법)이니 ^ㅍ아내가 그 男便(남편)을 두고 失行(실행)하여 더럽힌 때나

또는 그 男便(남편)이 疑心(의심)이 생겨서 그 아내를 疑心(의심)할 때에 그 女人(녀인)을 여호와 앞에 두고 祭司長(제사장)이 이 法(법)대로 行(행)할 것이라

er soll eine Handvoll des Speisopfers nehmen und auf dem Altar anzünden zum Gedächtnis und darnach dem Weibe das Wasser zu trinken geben.

Und wenn sie das Wasser getrunken hat: ist sie unrein und hat sich an ihrem Mann "versündigt," so wird das verfluchte Wasser in sie gehen und ihr bitter "sein," daß ihr der Bauch schwellen und die Hüfte schwinden "wird," und wird das Weib ein Fluch sein unter ihrem Volk;

ist aber ein solch Weib nicht "verunreinigt," sondern "rein," so wird's ihr nicht "schaden," daß sie kann schwanger werden.

Dies ist das "Eifergesetz," wenn ein Weib ihrem Mann untreu ist und unrein "wird,"

oder wenn einen Mann der Eifergeist "entzündet," daß er um sein Weib "eifert," daß er's stelle vor den HERRN und der Priester mit ihr tue alles nach diesem Gesetz.

The priest is then to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial offering and burn it on the altar; after that, he is to have the woman drink the water.

If she has defiled herself and been unfaithful to her husband, then when she is made to drink the water that brings a curse, it will go into her and cause bitter suffering; her abdomen will swell and her thigh waste away, and she will become accursed among her people.

If, however, the woman has not defiled herself and is free from impurity, she will be cleared of guilt and will be able to have children.

"'This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and defiles herself while married to her husband,

or when feelings of jealousy come over a man because he suspects his wife. The priest is to have her stand before the LORD and is to apply this entire law to her.

男便(남편)은 無罪(무죄)할 것이요 ^ㅎ女人(녀인)은 罪(죄)가 있으면 當(당)하리라

Und der Mann soll unschuldig sein an der Missetat; aber das Weib soll ihre Missetat tragen.

The husband will be innocent of any wrongdoing, but the woman will bear the consequences of her sin.'"
