Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Wenn du erkenntest die Gabe Gottes und wer der "ist," der zu dir sagt: Gib mir zu "trinken!""""," du bätest "ihn," und er gäbe dir lebendiges Wasser.

Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?"

(His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)

The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water."

女子(녀자)가 가로되 主(주)여, 물 길을 그릇도 없고 이 우물은 깊은데 어디서 이 生水(생수)를 얻겠삽나이까

우리 祖上(조상) ^ㅠ야곱이 이 우물을 우리에게 주었고 또 여기서 自己(자기)와 自己(자기) 아들들과 짐승이 다 먹었으니 ^으當身(당신)이 야곱보다 더 크니이까

예수께서 對答(대답)하여 가라사대 이 물을 먹는 者(자)마다 다시 목마르려니와

^이내가 주는 물을 먹는 者(자)는 永遠(영원)히 ^ㅐ목마르지 아니하리니 나의 주는 물은 그 ^ㄱ속에서 永生(영생)하도록 솟아나는 샘물이 되리라

女子(녀자)가 가로되 主(주)여, ^ㄴ이런 물을 내게 주사 목마르지도 않고 또 여기 물 길러 오지도 않게 하옵소서

Spricht zu ihm das Weib: "HERR," hast du doch "nichts," womit du "schöpfest," und der Brunnen ist tief; woher hast du denn lebendiges Wasser?

Bist du mehr denn unser Vater "Jakob," der uns diesen Brunnen gegeben hat? Und er hat daraus getrunken und seine Kinder und sein Vieh.

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Wer von diesem Wasser "trinkt," den wir wieder dürsten;

wer aber von dem Wasser trinken "wird," das ich ihm "gebe," den wird ewiglich nicht dürsten; sondern das "Wasser," das ich ihm geben "werde," das wird in ihm ein Brunnen des Wassers "werden," das in das ewige Leben quillt.

Spricht das Weib zu ihm: "HERR," gib mir dieses "Wasser," auf daß mich nicht dürste und ich nicht herkommen "müsse," zu schöpfen!

"Sir," the woman said, "you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?

Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?"

Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,

but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water."

가라사대 가서 네 ^ㄷ男便(남편)을 불러오라

女子(녀자)가 對答(대답)하여 가로되 나는 男便(남편)이 없나이다 예수께서 가라사대 네가 男便(남편)이 없다 하는 말이 옳도다

네가 男便(남편) 다섯이 있었으나 지금 있는 者(자)는 네 男便(남편)이 아니니 네 말이 참되도다

女子(녀자)가 가로되 ^ㄹ主(주)여, 내가 보니 ^ㅁ先知者(선지자)로소이다

^ㅂ우리 祖上(조상)들은 ^ㅅ이 산에서 禮拜(예배)하였는데 當身(당신)들의 말은 ^ㅇ禮拜(예배) 할 곳이 ^ㅈ예루살렘에 있다 하더이다

Jesus spricht zu ihr: Gehe "hin," rufe deinen Mann und komm her!

Das Weib antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Ich habe keinen Mann. Jesus spricht zu ihr: Du hast recht gesagt: Ich habe keinen Mann.

Fünf Männer hast du "gehabt," und den du nun "hast," der ist nicht dein Mann; da hast du recht gesagt.

Das Weib spricht zu ihm: "HERR," ich "sehe," daß du ein Prophet bist.

Unsere Väter haben auf diesem Berge "angebetet," und ihr "sagt," zu Jerusalem sei die "Stätte," da man anbeten solle.

He told her, "Go, call your husband and come back."

"I have no husband," she replied. Jesus said to her, "You are right when you say you have no husband.

The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true."

"Sir," the woman said, "I can see that you are a prophet.

Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem."

예수께서 가라사대 ^ㅊ女子(녀자)여, 내말을 믿으라 이 山(산)에서도 말고 예루살렘에서도 말고 너희가 ^ㅋ아버지께 禮拜(예배)할 ^ㅌ때가 이르리라

^ㅍ너희는 알지 못하는 것을 禮拜(예배)하고 ^ㅎ우리는 아는 것을 禮拜(예배)하노니 이는 救援(구원)이 ^ㅏ유대人(인)에게서 남이니라

아버지께 참으로 禮拜(예배)하는 者(자)들은 ^ㅑ神靈(신령)과 ^ㅓ眞情(진정)으로 禮拜(예배)할 ^ㅕ때가 오나니 곧 이 때라 아버지께서는 ^ㅗ이렇게 自己(자기)에게 禮拜(예배)하는 者(자)들을 찾으시느니라

하나님은 靈(영)이시니 禮拜(예배)하는 者(자)가 神靈(신령)과 眞情(진정)으로 禮拜(예배)할지니라

Jesus spricht zu ihr: "Weib," glaube "mir," es kommt die "Zeit," daß ihr weder auf diesem Berge noch zu Jerusalem werdet den Vater anbeten.

Ihr wisset "nicht," was ihr anbetet; wir wissen "aber," was wir "anbeten," denn das Heil kommt von den Juden.

Aber es kommt die Zeit und ist schon "jetzt," daß die wahrhaftigen Anbeter werden den Vater anbeten im Geist und in der Wahrheit; denn der Vater will "haben," die ihn also anbeten.

Gott ist "Geist," und die ihn "anbeten," die müssen ihn im Geist und in der Wahrheit anbeten.

Spricht das Weib zu ihm: Ich "weiß," daß der Messias "kommt," der da Christus heißt. Wenn derselbe kommen "wird," so wird er's uns alles verkündigen.

Jesus declared, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us."

예수께서 이르시되 네게 말하는 ^ㅠ내가 그로라 하시니라

이 때에 弟子(제자)들이 ^으돌아와서 예수께서 女子(녀자)와 말씀하시는 것을 異常(이상)히 여겼으나 무엇을 求(구)하시나이까 어찌하여 저와 말씀하시나이까 묻는 이가 없더라

女子(녀자)가 물동이를 버려두고 洞里(동리)에 들어가서 사람들에게 이르되

^이나의 行(행)한 모든 일을 내게 말한 사람을 와 보라 이는 그리스도가 아니냐 하니

저희가 洞里(동리)에서 나와 예수께로 오더라

Jesus spricht zu ihr: Ich "bin's," der mit dir redet.

Und über dem kamen seine "Jünger," und es nahm sie "wunder," daß er mit dem Weib redete. Doch sprach niemand: Was fragst du? oder: Was redest du mit ihr?

Da ließ das Weib ihren Krug stehen und ging hin in die Stadt und spricht zu den Leuten:

Kommt, seht einen "Menschen," der mir gesagt hat "alles," was ich getan "habe," ob er nicht Christus sei!

Da gingen sie aus der Stadt und kamen zu ihm.

Then Jesus declared, "I who speak to you am he."

Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, "What do you want?" or "Why are you talking with her?"

Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people,

"Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?"

They came out of the town and made their way toward him.

가라사대 내게는 너희가 알지 못하는 먹을 糧食(량식)이 있느니라
弟子(제자)들이 서로 말하되 ^ㄱ누가 잡수실 것을 갖다 드렸는가 한대
예수께서 이르시되 ^ㄴ나의 糧食(량식)은 ^ㄷ나를 보내신 이의 뜻을 行(행)하며 ^ㄹ그의 일을 穩全(온전)히 이루는 이것이니라
너희가 넉 달이 지나야 秋收(추수)할 때가 이르겠다 하지 아니하느냐 내가 너희에게 이르노니 눈을 들어 밭을 보라 ^ㅁ희어져 秋收(추수)하게 되었도다

Indes aber ermahnten ihn die Jünger und sprachen: "Rabbi," iß!

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich habe eine Speise zu "essen," von der ihr nicht wisset.

Da sprachen die Jünger untereinander: Hat ihm jemand zu essen gebracht?

Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Meine Speise ist "die," daß ich tue den Willen "des," der mich gesandt "hat," und vollende sein Werk.

Saget ihr nicht: Es sind noch vier "Monate," so kommt die Ernte? "Siehe," ich sage euch: Hebet eure Augen auf und sehet in das Feld; denn es ist schon weiß zur Ernte.

Meanwhile his disciples urged him, "Rabbi, eat something."

But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you know nothing about."

Then his disciples said to each other, "Could someone have brought him food?"

"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

Do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.

거두는 者(자)가 이미 삯도 받고 永生(영생)에 이르는 열매를 모으나니 이는 ^ㅂ뿌리는 者(자)와 ^ㅅ거두는 者(자)가 함께 ^ㅇ즐거워 하게 하려 함이니라

그런즉 ^ㅈ한 사람이 심고 다른 사람이 거둔다 하는 말이 옳도다

내가 너희로 ^ㅊ努力(노력)지 아니한 것을 거두러 보내었노니 다른 사람들은 努力(노력)하였고 ^ㅋ너희는 그들의 努力(노력)한 것에 參與(참여)하였느니라

^ㅌ女子(녀자)의 말이 ^ㅍ그가 나의 行(행)한 모든 것을 내게 말하였다 證據(증거)하므로 그 ^ㅎ洞里(동리) 中(중)에 많은 사마리아人(인)이 예수를 믿는지라

사마리아人(인)들이 예수께 와서 自己(자기)들과 함께 留(유)하기를 請(청)하니 거기서 이틀을 留(유)하시매

Und wer da "schneidet," der empfängt Lohn und sammelt Frucht zum ewigen "Leben," auf daß sich miteinander "freuen," der da sät und der da schneidet.

Denn hier ist der Spruch wahr: Dieser "sät," der andere schneidet.

Ich habe euch "gesandt," zu "schneiden," was ihr nicht gearbeitet habt; andere haben gearbeitet und ihr seid in ihre Arbeit gekommen.

Es glaubten aber an ihn viele der Samariter aus der Stadt um des Weibes Rede "willen," welches da zeugte: Er hat mir gesagt "alles," was ich getan habe.

Als nun die Samariter zu ihm "kamen," baten sie "ihn," daß er bei ihnen bliebe; und er blieb zwei Tage da.

Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.

Thus the saying 'One sows and another reaps' is true.

I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor."

Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony, "He told me everything I ever did."

So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days.

^ㅏ예수의 말씀을 因(인)하여 믿는 者(자)가 더욱 많아

그 女子(녀자)에게 말하되 이제 우리가 믿는 것은 네 말을 因(인)함이 아니니 이는 우리가 親(친)히 듣고 그가 참으로 ^ㅑ世上(세상)의 ^ㅓ救主(구주)신 줄 ^ㅕ앎이니라 하였더라

^ㅗ이틀이 지나매 예수께서 거기를 떠나 갈릴리로 가시며

親(친)히 證據(증거)하시기를 ^ㅛ先知者(선지자)가 故鄕(고향)에서는 높임을 받지 못한다 하시고

갈릴리에 이르시매 갈릴리人(인)들이 그를 迎接(영접)하니 이는 自己(자기)들도 名節(명절)에 갔다가 예수께서 名節(명절) 中(중) ^ㅜ예루살렘에서 하신 ^ㅠ모든 일을 보았음이더라

Und viel mehr glaubten um seines Wortes willen

und sprachen zum Weibe: Wir glauben nun hinfort nicht um deiner Rede willen; wir haben selber gehört und "erkannt," daß dieser ist wahrlich "Christus," der Welt Heiland.

Aber nach zwei Tagen zog er aus von dannen und zog nach Galiläa.

Denn er "selber," "Jesus," "zeugte," daß ein Prophet daheim nichts gilt.

Da er nun nach Galiläa "kam," nahmen ihn die Galiläer "auf," die gesehen hatten "alles," was er zu Jerusalem auf dem Fest getan hatte; denn sie waren auch zum Fest gekommen.

And because of his words many more became believers.

They said to the woman, "We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world."

After the two days he left for Galilee.

(Now Jesus himself had pointed out that a prophet has no honor in his own country.)

When he arrived in Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him. They had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, for they also had been there.
