1. ^ㅇ여호와께서 시내山(산)에서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
   
2. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 告(고)하여 이르라 너희는 내가 너희에게 주는 땅에 들어간 後(후)에 ^ㅈ그 땅으로 여호와 앞에 安息(안식)하게 하라
   
3. 너는 六年(육년) 동안 그 밭에 播種(파종)하며 六年(육년) 동안 그 葡萄園(포도원)을 다스려 그 열매를 거둘 것이나
   
4. 第(제) 七年(칠년)에는 땅으로 쉬어 安息(안식)하게 할지니 여호와께 對(대)한 安息(안식)이라 너는 그 밭에 播種(파종)하거나 葡萄園(포도원)을 다스리지 말며
   
5. 너의 穀物(곡물)의 ^ㅊ스스로 난 것을 거두지 말고 다스리지 아니한 葡萄(포도)나무의 맺은 열매를 거두지 말라 이는 땅의 安息年(안식년)임이니라
   

1. Und der HERR redete mit Mose auf dem Berge Sinai und sprach:
   
2. Rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr in das Land "kommt," das ich euch geben "werde," so soll das Land seinen Sabbat dem HERRN "feiern,"
   
3. daß du sechs Jahre dein Feld besäest und sechs Jahre deinen Weinberg beschneidest und sammelst die Früchte ein;
   
4. aber im siebenten Jahr soll das Land seinen großen Sabbat dem HERRN "feiern," darin du dein Feld nicht besäen noch deinen Weinberg beschneiden sollst.
   
5. Was aber von selber nach deiner Ernte "wächst," sollst du nicht "ernten," und die "Trauben," so ohne deine Arbeit "wachsen," sollst du nicht "lesen," dieweil es ein Sabbatjahr des Landes ist.
   

1. The LORD said to Moses on Mount Sinai,
   
2. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the LORD.
   
3. For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops.
   
4. But in the seventh year the land is to have a sabbath of rest, a sabbath to the LORD. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards.
   
5. Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest.
   

6. 安息年(안식년)의 所出(소출)은 너희의 먹을 것이니 너와 네 男(남)종과, 네 女(여)종과, 네 품군과, 너와 함께 居(거)하는 客(객)과,
   
7. 네 六畜(육축)과 네 땅에 있는 들짐승들이 ^ㅋ다 그 所産(소산)으로 植物(식물)을 삼을지니라
   
8. 너는 일곱 安息年(안식년)을 計數(계수)할지니 이는 七年(칠년)이 일곱番(번)인즉 安息年(안식년) 일곱番(번) 동안 곧 四十九年(사십구년)이라
   
9. 七月(칠월) 十日(십일)은 ^ㅌ贖罪日(속죄일)이니 너는 나팔 소리를 내되 全國(전국)에서 ^ㅍ나팔을 크게 불지며
   
10. 第(제) 五十年(오십년)을 거룩하게 하여 ^ㅎ全國(전국) 居民(거민)에게 自由(자유)를 公布(공포)하라 이 해는 너희에게 禧年(희년)이니 너희는 ^ㅏ各各(각각) 그 基業(기업)으로 돌아가며 各各(각각) 그 家族(가족)에게로 돌아갈지며
    

6. Aber was das Land während seines Sabbats "trägt," davon sollt ihr "essen," du und dein "Knecht," deine "Magd," dein "Tagelöhner," dein "Beisaß," dein Fremdling bei "dir,"
   
7. dein Vieh und die Tiere in deinem Lande; alle Früchte sollen Speise sein.
   
8. Und du sollst zählen solcher Sabbatjahre "sieben," daß sieben Jahre siebenmal gezählt "werden," und die Zeit der sieben Sabbatjahre mache neunundvierzig Jahre.
   
9. Da sollst du die Posaune lassen blasen durch all euer Land am zehnten Tage des siebenten "Monats," eben am Tage der Versöhnung. {~} {~}
   
10. Und ihr sollt das fünfzigste Jahr heiligen und sollt ein Freijahr ausrufen im Lande "allen," die darin wohnen; denn es ist euer Halljahr. Da soll ein jeglicher bei euch wieder zu seiner Habe und zu seinem Geschlecht kommen; {~} {~}
    

6. Whatever the land yields during the sabbath year will be food for you--for yourself, your manservant and maidservant, and the hired worker and temporary resident who live among you,
   
7. as well as for your livestock and the wild animals in your land. Whatever the land produces may be eaten.
   
8. "'Count off seven sabbaths of years--seven times seven years--so that the seven sabbaths of years amount to a period of forty-nine years.
   
9. Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land.
   
10. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each one of you is to return to his family property and each to his own clan.
    

11. 그 五十年(오십년)은 너희의 禧年(희년)이니 너희는 ^ㅑ播種(파종)하지 말며 스스로 난 것을 거두지 말며 다스리지 아니한 葡萄(포도)를 거두지 말라
    
12. 이는 禧年(희년)이니 너희에게 거룩함이니라 너희가 밭의 所産(소산)을 ^ㅓ먹으리라
    
13. 이 禧年(희년)에는 너희가 各其(각기) 基業(기업)으로 돌아갈지라
    
14. 네 이웃에게 팔든지 네 이웃의 손에서 사거든 너희는 ^ㅕ서로 속이지 말라
    
15. 禧年(희년) 後(후)의 ^ㅗ年數(연수)를 따라서 너는 이웃에게 살 것이요 그도 그 열매를 얻을 年數(연수)를 따라서 네게 팔 것인즉
    

11. denn das fünfzigste Jahr ist euer Halljahr. Ihr sollt nicht "säen," auch was von selber "wächst," nicht "ernten," auch was ohne Arbeit wächst im "Weinberge," nicht lesen;
    
12. denn das Halljahr soll unter euch heilig sein. Ihr sollt aber "essen," was das Feld trägt.
    
13. Das ist das "Halljahr," da jedermann wieder zu dem Seinen kommen soll.
    
14. Wenn du nun etwas deinem Nächsten verkaufst oder ihm etwas "abkaufst," soll keiner seinen Bruder "übervorteilen,"
    
15. sondern nach der Zahl der Jahre vom Halljahr an sollst du es von ihm kaufen; und was die Jahre hernach tragen "mögen," so hoch soll er dir's verkaufen.
    

11. The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines.
    
12. For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields.
    
13. "'In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to his own property.
    
14. "'If you sell land to one of your countrymen or buy any from him, do not take advantage of each other.
    
15. You are to buy from your countryman on the basis of the number of years since the Jubilee. And he is to sell to you on the basis of the number of years left for harvesting crops.
    

16. 年數(연수)가 많으면 너는 그 값을 많게 하고 年數(연수)가 적으면 너는 그 값을 적게 할지니 곧 그가 그 열매의 多少(다소)를 따라서 네게 팔 것이라
    
17. 너희는 서로 속이지 말고 ^ㅛ너희의 하나님을 敬畏(경외)하라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
    
18. 너희는 ^ㅜ내 法度(법도)를 行(행)하며 내 規例(규례)를 지켜 行(행)하라 그리하면 ^ㅠ너희가 그 땅에 安全(안전)히 居(거)할 것이라
    
19. ^으땅은 그 産物(산물)을 내리니 너희가 ^이배불리 먹고 거기 安全(안전)히 居(거)하리라
    
20. 惑(혹) 너희 말이 ^ㅐ우리가 萬一(만일) 第(제) 七年(칠년)에 심지도 못하고 그 産物(산물)을 거두지도 못하면 ^ㄱ무엇을 먹으리요 하겠으나
    

16. Nach der Menge der Jahre sollst du den Kauf "steigern," und nach der wenigen der Jahre sollst du den Kauf verringern; denn er soll "dir's," nach dem es tragen "mag," verkaufen.
    
17. So übervorteile nun keiner seinen "Nächsten," sondern fürchte dich vor deinem Gott; denn ich bin der "HERR," euer Gott.
    
18. Darum tut nach meinen Satzungen und haltet meine "Rechte," daß ihr darnach "tut," auf daß ihr im Lande sicher wohnen möget.
    
19. Denn das Land soll euch seine Früchte "geben," daß ihr zu essen genug habet und sicher darin wohnt.
    
20. Und ob du würdest sagen: Was sollen wir essen im siebenten Jahr? denn wir säen "nicht," so sammeln wir auch kein Getreide ein:
    

16. When the years are many, you are to increase the price, and when the years are few, you are to decrease the price, because what he is really selling you is the number of crops.
    
17. Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the LORD your God.
    
18. "'Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws, and you will live safely in the land.
    
19. Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill and live there in safety.
    
20. You may ask, "What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not plant or harvest our crops?"
    

21. 내가 命(명)하여 ^ㄴ第(제) 六年(육년)에 내 福(복)을 너희에게 내려 그 所出(소출)이 三年(삼년) 쓰기에 足(족)하게 할지라
    
22. 너희가 ^ㄷ第(제) 八年(팔년)에는 播種(파종)하려니와 묵은 穀食(곡식)을 먹을 것이며 第(제) 九年(구년) 곧 秋收(추수)하기까지 ^ㄹ묵은 穀食(곡식)을 먹으리라
    
23. 土地(토지)를 永永(영영)히 팔지 말 것은 ^ㅁ土地(토지)는 다 내 것임이라 너희는 ^ㅂ나그네요 寓居(우거)하는 者(자)로서 나와 함께 있느니라
    
24. 너희 基業(기업)의 온 땅에서 그 土地(토지) 무르기를 許諾(허락)할지니
    
25. 萬一(만일) 너희 兄弟(형제)가 가난하여 그 基業(기업) 얼마를 팔았으면 ^ㅅ그 近族(근족)이 와서 同族(동족)의 판 것을 무를 것이요
    

21. da will ich meinem Segen über euch im sechsten Jahr "gebieten," das er soll dreier Jahr Getreide "machen,"
    
22. daß ihr säet im achten Jahr und von dem alten Getreide esset bis in das neunte "Jahr," daß ihr vom alten "esset," bis wieder neues Getreide kommt.
    
23. Darum sollt ihr das Land nicht verkaufen für immer; denn das Land ist "mein," und ihr seid Fremdlinge und Gäste vor mir.
    
24. Und sollt in all eurem Lande das Land zu lösen geben.
    
25. Wenn dein Bruder "verarmt," und verkauft dir seine "Habe," und sein nächster Verwandter kommt zu "ihm," daß er's "löse," so soll er's "lösen," was sein Bruder verkauft hat.
    

21. I will send you such a blessing in the sixth year that the land will yield enough for three years.
    
22. While you plant during the eighth year, you will eat from the old crop and will continue to eat from it until the harvest of the ninth year comes in.
    
23. "'The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you are but aliens and my tenants.
    
24. Throughout the country that you hold as a possession, you must provide for the redemption of the land.
    
25. "'If one of your countrymen becomes poor and sells some of his property, his nearest relative is to come and redeem what his countryman has sold.
    

26. 萬一(만일) 그것을 무를 사람이 없고 自己(자기)가 富饒(부요)하게 되어 무를 힘이 있거든
    
27. 그 ^ㅇ판 해를 計數(계수)하여 그 남은 값을 산 者(자)에게 주고 그 基業(기업)으로 돌아갈 것이니라
    
28. 그러나 自己(자기)가 무를 힘이 없으면 그 판것이 禧年(희년)이 이르기까지 산 者(자)의 손에 있다가 ^ㅈ禧年(희년)에 ^ㅊ미쳐 돌아올지니 그가 곧 그 基業(기업)으로 돌아갈 것이니라
    
29. 城壁(성벽) 있는 城內(성내)의 家屋(가옥)을 팔았으면 판 지 滿(만) 一年(일년) 안에는 무를 수 있나니 곧 그 期限(기한) 안에 무르려니와
    
30. 週年(주년) 內(내)에 무르지 못하면 그 城內(성내) 家屋(가옥)은 산 者(자)의 所有(소유)로 確定(확정)되어 代代(대대)로 永永(영영)히 그에게 贖(속)하고 禧年(희년)에라도 돌려 보내지 아니할 것이니라
    

26. Wenn aber jemand keinen Löser hat und kann mit seiner Hand so viel zuwege "bringen," daß er's "löse,"
    
27. so soll er rechnen von dem "Jahr," da er's verkauft "hat," und was noch übrig "ist," dem Käufer wiedergeben und also wieder zu seiner Habe kommen.
    
28. Kann aber seine Hand nicht so viel "finden," daß er's ihm "wiedergebe," so "soll," was er verkauft "hat," in der Hand des Käufers bleiben bis zum Halljahr; in demselben soll es frei werden und er wieder zu seiner Habe kommen.
    
29. Wer ein Wohnhaus verkauft in einer Stadt mit "Mauern," der hat ein ganzes Jahr "Frist," dasselbe wieder zu lösen; das soll die Zeit "sein," darin er es lösen kann.
    
30. Wo er's aber nicht "löst," ehe denn das ganze Jahr um "ist," so soll's der Käufer für immer behalten und seine "Nachkommen," und es soll nicht frei werden im Halljahr. {~} {~}
    

26. If, however, a man has no one to redeem it for him but he himself prospers and acquires sufficient means to redeem it,
    
27. he is to determine the value for the years since he sold it and refund the balance to the man to whom he sold it; he can then go back to his own property.
    
28. But if he does not acquire the means to repay him, what he sold will remain in the possession of the buyer until the Year of Jubilee. It will be returned in the Jubilee, and he can then go back to his property.
    
29. "'If a man sells a house in a walled city, he retains the right of redemption a full year after its sale. During that time he may redeem it.
    
30. If it is not redeemed before a full year has passed, the house in the walled city shall belong permanently to the buyer and his descendants. It is not to be returned in the Jubilee.
    

31. 그러나 城壁(성벽)이 둘리지 아니한 村落(촌락)의 家屋(가옥)은 나라의 田土(전토) 一例(일례)로 물러주기도 할 것이요 禧年(희년)에 돌려 보내기도 할 것이니라
    
32. ^ㅋ레위 族屬(족속)의 城邑(성읍) 곧 그 基業(기업)의 城邑(성읍)의 家屋(가옥)은 레위 사람이 언제든지 무를 수 있으나
    
33. 레위 사람이 萬一(만일) 무르지 아니하면 그 基業(기업)된 城邑(성읍)의 판 家屋(가옥)은 禧年(희년)에 돌려 보낼지니 大抵(대저) 레위 사람의 城邑(성읍)의 家屋(가옥)은 이스라엘 子孫(자손) 中(중)에서 얻을 基業(기업)이 됨이니라
    
34. 그러나 ^ㅌ그 城邑(성읍)의 들의 四面(사면) 밭은 그의 永遠(영원)한 基業(기업)이니 팔지 못할지니라
    
35. 네 同族(동족)이 貧寒(빈한)하게 되어 빈 손으로 네 곁에 있거든 너는 그를 ^ㅍ도와 客(객)이나 寓居(우거)하는 者(자)처럼 너와 함께 生活(생활)하게 하되
    

31. Ist's aber ein Haus auf dem "Dorfe," um das keine Mauer "ist," das soll man dem Feld des Landes gleich "rechnen," und es soll können los werden und im Halljahr frei werden.
    
32. Die Städte der Leviten "aber," nämlich die Häuser in den "Städten," darin ihre Habe "ist," können immerdar gelöst werden. {~}
    
33. Wer etwas von den Leviten "löst," der soll's verlassen im "Halljahr," es sei Haus oder "Stadt," das er besessen hat; denn die Häuser in den Städten der Leviten sind ihre Habe unter den Kindern Israel. {~}
    
34. Aber das Feld vor ihren Städten soll man nicht verkaufen; denn das ist ihr Eigentum ewiglich.
    
35. Wenn dein Bruder verarmt und neben dir "abnimmt," so sollst du ihn aufnehmen als einen Fremdling oder "Gast," daß er lebe neben "dir,"
    

31. But houses in villages without walls around them are to be considered as open country. They can be redeemed, and they are to be returned in the Jubilee.
    
32. "'The Levites always have the right to redeem their houses in the Levitical towns, which they possess.
    
33. So the property of the Levites is redeemable--that is, a house sold in any town they hold--and is to be returned in the Jubilee, because the houses in the towns of the Levites are their property among the Israelites.
    
34. But the pastureland belonging to their towns must not be sold; it is their permanent possession.
    
35. "'If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you.
    

36. 너는 그에게 ^ㅎ利息(이식)을 取(취)하지 말고 ^ㅏ네 하나님을 敬畏(경외)하여 네 兄弟(형제)로 너와 함께 生活(생활)하게 할 것인즉
    
37. 너는 그에게 利息(이식)을 爲(위)하여 돈을 꾸이지 말고 利益(리익)을 爲(위)하여 植物(식물)을 꾸이지 말라
    
38. ^ㅑ나는 너희 하나님이 되려고 또는 가나안 땅으로 너희에게 주려고 애굽 땅에서 너희를 引導(인도)하여 낸 너희 하나님 여호와니라
    
39. ^ㅓ네 同族(동족)이 貧寒(빈한)하게 되어 네게 몸이 팔리거든 너는 그를 종으로 부리지 말고
    
40. 품군이나 寓居(우거)하는 者(자)같이 너와 함께 있게 하여 禧年(희년)까지 너를 섬기게 하라
    

36. und sollst nicht Zinsen von ihm nehmen noch "Wucher," sondern sollst dich vor deinem Gott "fürchten," auf daß dein Bruder neben dir leben könne.
    
37. Denn du sollst ihm dein Geld nicht auf Zinsen leihen noch deine Speise auf Wucher austun.
    
38. Denn ich bin der "HERR," euer "Gott," der euch aus Ägyptenland geführt "hat," daß ich euch das Land Kanaan gäbe und euer Gott wäre.
    
39. Wenn dein Bruder verarmt neben dir und verkauft sich "dir," so sollst du ihn nicht lassen dienen als einen Leibeigenen;
    
40. sondern wie ein Tagelöhner und Gast soll er bei dir sein und bis an das Halljahr bei dir dienen.
    

36. Do not take interest of any kind from him, but fear your God, so that your countryman may continue to live among you.
    
37. You must not lend him money at interest or sell him food at a profit.
    
38. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.
    
39. "'If one of your countrymen becomes poor among you and sells himself to you, do not make him work as a slave.
    
40. He is to be treated as a hired worker or a temporary resident among you; he is to work for you until the Year of Jubilee.
    

41. 그 때에는 ^ㅕ그와 그 子女(자녀)가 함께 네게서 떠나 그 本族(본족)에게로 돌아가서 ^ㅗ祖上(조상)의 基業(기업)을 回復(회복)하리라
    
42. 그들은 내가 애굽 땅에서 引導(인도)하여 낸바 ^ㅛ나의 품군인즉 종으로 팔리지 말 것이라
    
43. 너는 그를 ^ㅜ嚴(엄)하게 ^ㅠ부리지 말고 ^으너의 하나님을 敬畏(경외)하라
    
44. 너의 종은 男女(남녀)를 無論(무론)하고 너의 四面(사면) 異邦人(이방인) 中(중)에서 取(취)할지니 男女(남녀) 종은 이런 者(자) 中(중)에서 살 것이며
    
45. 또 ^이너희 中(중)에 寓居(우거)한 異邦人(이방인)의 子女(자녀) 中(중)에서도 너희가 살 수 있고 또 그들이 너희 中(중)에서 살아서 너희 땅에서 家庭(가정)을 이룬 그 中(중)에서도 그리할 수 있은즉 그들이 너희 所有(소유)가 될찌니
    

41. Dann soll er von dir frei ausgehen und seine Kinder mit ihm und soll wiederkommen zu seinem Geschlecht und zu seiner Väter Habe. {~}
    
42. Denn sie sind meine "Knechte," die ich aus Ägyptenland geführt habe; darum soll man sie nicht auf leibeigene Weise verkaufen.
    
43. Und sollst nicht mit Strenge über sie "herrschen," sondern dich fürchten vor deinem Gott.
    
44. Willst du aber leibeigene Knechte und Mägde "haben," so sollst du sie kaufen von den "Heiden," die um euch her "sind," {~} {~}
    
45. und auch von den Kindern der "Gäste," die Fremdlinge unter euch "sind," und von ihren "Nachkommen," die sie bei euch in eurem Land zeugen; dieselben mögt ihr zu eigen haben{~}
    

41. Then he and his children are to be released, and he will go back to his own clan and to the property of his forefathers.
    
42. Because the Israelites are my servants, whom I brought out of Egypt, they must not be sold as slaves.
    
43. Do not rule over them ruthlessly, but fear your God.
    
44. "'Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.
    
45. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property.
    

46. 너희는 그들을 너희 後孫(후손)에게 基業(기업)으로 주어 所有(소유)가 되게 할 것이라 異邦人(이방인) 中(중)에서는 너희가 永遠(영원)한 종을 삼으려니와 너희 同族(동족) 이스라엘 子孫(자손)은 너희 彼此(피차) 嚴(엄)하게 부리지 말지니라
    
47. 너희 中(중)에 寓居(우거)하는 異邦人(이방인)은 富饒(부요)하게 되고 그 곁에 사는 ^ㅐ너희 同族(동족)은 貧寒(빈한)하게 됨으로 너희 中(중)에 寓居(우거)하는 그 異邦人(이방인)에게나 그 族屬(족속)에게 몸이 팔렸으면
    
48. 팔린 後(후)에 그를 贖良(속량)할 수 있나니 그 兄弟(형제) 中(중) 하나가 贖(속)하거나
    
49. ^ㄱ三寸(삼촌)이나 四寸(사촌)이 贖(속)하거나 그 近族(근족) 中(중) 누구든지 贖(속)할 것이요 ^ㄴ그가 富饒(부요)하게 되면 스스로 贖(속)하되
    
50. 自己(자기) 몸이 팔린 해로부터 禧年(희년)까지를 그 산 者(자)와 計算(계산)하여 그 年數(년수)를 따라서 그 ^ㄷ몸의 값을 定(정)할 때에 그 사람을 섬긴 날을 그 사람에게 雇傭(고용)된 날로 여길 것이라
    

46. und sollt sie besitzen und eure Kinder nach euch zum Eigentum für und für; die sollt ihr leibeigene Knechte sein lassen. Aber von euren "Brüdern," den Kindern "Israel," soll keiner über den andern herrschen mit Strenge. {~}
    
47. Wenn irgend ein Fremdling oder Gast bei dir zunimmt und dein Bruder neben ihm verarmt und sich dem Fremdling oder Gast bei dir oder jemand von seinem Stamm "verkauft,"
    
48. so soll er nach seinem Verkaufen Recht "haben," wieder frei zu "werden," und es mag ihn jemand unter seinen Brüdern "lösen,"
    
49. oder sein Vetter oder Vetters Sohn oder sonst ein Blutsfreund seines Geschlechts; oder so seine Hand so viel "erwirbt," so soll er selbst sich lösen. {~} {~}
    
50. Und soll mit seinem Käufer rechnen von dem Jahr "an," da er sich verkauft "hatte," bis aufs Halljahr; und das "Geld," darum er sich verkauft "hat," soll nach der Zahl der Jahre gerechnet "werden," als wäre er die ganze Zeit Tagelöhner bei ihm gewesen.
    

46. You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.
    
47. "'If an alien or a temporary resident among you becomes rich and one of your countrymen becomes poor and sells himself to the alien living among you or to a member of the alien's clan,
    
48. he retains the right of redemption after he has sold himself. One of his relatives may redeem him:
    
49. An uncle or a cousin or any blood relative in his clan may redeem him. Or if he prospers, he may redeem himself.
    
50. He and his buyer are to count the time from the year he sold himself up to the Year of Jubilee. The price for his release is to be based on the rate paid to a hired man for that number of years.
    

51. 萬一(만일) 남은 해가 많으면 그 年數(연수)대로 팔린 값에서 贖(속)하는 값을 그 사람에게 도로 주고
    
52. 萬一(만일) 禧年(희년)까지 남은 해가 적으면 그 사람과 計算(계산)하여 그 年數(연수)대로 贖(속)하는 그 값을 그에게 도로 줄지며
    
53. 主人(주인)은 그를 每年(매년)의 삯군과 같이 여기고 너의 目前(목전)에서 嚴(엄)하게 부리지 못하리라
    
54. 그가 이같이 贖(속)하지 못하면 禧年(희년)에 이르러 그와 그 ^ㄹ子女(자녀)가 自由(자유)하리니
    
55. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)은 ^ㅁ나의 품군이 됨이라 그들은 내가 애굽 땅에서 引導(인도)하여 낸 나의 품군이요 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
    

51. Sind noch viele Jahre bis an das "Halljahr," so soll er nach denselben desto mehr zu seiner Lösung wiedergeben von dem Gelde darum er gekauft ist.
    
52. Sind aber wenig Jahre übrig bis ans "Halljahr," so soll er auch darnach wiedergeben zu seiner Lösung. {~}
    
53. Als Tagelöhner soll er von Jahr zu Jahr bei ihm "sein," und sollst nicht lassen mit Strenge über ihn herrschen vor deinen Augen.
    
54. Wird er aber auf diese Weise sich nicht "lösen," so soll er im Halljahr frei ausgehen und seine Kinder mit ihm.
    
55. Denn die Kinder Israel sind meine "Knechte," die ich aus Ägyptenland geführt habe. Ich bin der "HERR," euer Gott.
    

51. If many years remain, he must pay for his redemption a larger share of the price paid for him.
    
52. If only a few years remain until the Year of Jubilee, he is to compute that and pay for his redemption accordingly.
    
53. He is to be treated as a man hired from year to year; you must see to it that his owner does not rule over him ruthlessly.
    
54. "'Even if he is not redeemed in any of these ways, he and his children are to be released in the Year of Jubilee,
    
55. for the Israelites belong to me as servants. They are my servants, whom I brought out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
