느헤미야(Néhémie) 9장 [개역한글 : LSG1910 : NIV]

1. ^ㅁ그 달 二十(이십) 四日(사일)에 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 다 모여 ^ㅂ禁食(금식)하며 굵은 ^ㅅ베를 입고 ^ㅇ티끌을 무릅쓰며
   
2. ^ㅈ모든 異邦(이방) 사람과 絶交(절교)하고 서서 自己(자기)의 罪(죄)와 列祖(열조)의 허물을 自服(자복)하고
   
3. 이 날에 ^ㅊ낮 四分之(사분지) 一(일)은 그 處所(처소)에 서서 그 하나님 여호와의 律法冊(률법책)을 朗讀(랑독)하며 그 하나님 여호와께 敬拜(경배)하는데
   
4. 레위 사람 ^ㅋ예수아와, 바니와, 갓미엘과, 스바냐와, 분니와, 세레뱌와, 바니와, 그나니는 臺(대)에 올라서서 큰 소리로 그 하나님 여호와께 부르짖고
   
5. 또 레위 사람 예수아와, 갓미엘과, 바니와, 하삽느야와, 세레뱌와, 호다야와, 스바냐와, 브다히야는 이르기를 너희 무리는 마땅히 일어나 永遠(영원)부터 永遠(영원)까지 계신 너희 하나님 여호와를 頌祝(송축)할지어다 主(주)여, ^ㅌ主(주)의 榮華(영화)로운 이름을 頌祝(송축)하올 것은 主(주)의 이름이 尊貴(존귀)하여 모든 頌祝(송축)이나 讚揚(찬양)에서 뛰어남이니이다
   

1. Le vingt-quatrième jour du même mois, les enfants d'Israël s'assemblèrent, revêtus de sacs et couverts de poussière, pour la célébration d'un jeûne.
   
2. Ceux qui étaient de la race d'Israël, s'étant séparés de tous les étrangers, se présentèrent et confessèrent leurs péchés et les iniquités de leurs pères.
   
3. Lorsqu'ils furent placés, on lut dans le livre de la loi de l'Éternel, leur Dieu, pendant un quart de la journée; et pendant un autre quart ils confessèrent leurs péchés et se prosternèrent devant l'Éternel, leur Dieu.
   
4. Josué, Bani, Kadmiel, Schebania, Bunni, Schérébia, Bani et Kenani montèrent sur l'estrade des Lévites et crièrent à haute voix vers l'Éternel, leur Dieu.
   
5. Et les Lévites Josué, Kadmiel, Bani, Haschabnia, Schérébia, Hodija, Schebania et Pethachja, dirent: Levez-vous, bénissez l'Éternel, votre Dieu, d'éternité en éternité! Que l'on bénisse ton nom glorieux, qui est au-dessus de toute bénédiction et de toute louange!
   

1. On the twenty-fourth day of the same month, the Israelites gathered together, fasting and wearing sackcloth and having dust on their heads.
   
2. Those of Israelite descent had separated themselves from all foreigners. They stood in their places and confessed their sins and the wickedness of their fathers.
   
3. They stood where they were and read from the Book of the Law of the LORD their God for a quarter of the day, and spent another quarter in confession and in worshiping the LORD their God.
   
4. Standing on the stairs were the Levites--Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani and Kenani--who called with loud voices to the LORD their God.
   
5. And the Levites--Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah and Pethahiah--said: "Stand up and praise the LORD your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting." "Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.
   

6. ^ㅍ오직 主(주)는 여호와시라 ^ㅎ하늘과 하늘들의 하늘과 ^ㅏ日月(일월) 星辰(성신)과 땅과 땅 위의 萬物(만물)과 바다와 그 가운데 모든 것을 ^ㅑ지으시고 ^ㅓ다 保存(보존)하시오니 모든 天軍(천군)이 主(주)께 敬拜(경배)하나이다
   
7. 主(주)는 하나님 여호와시라 ^ㅕ옛적에 아브람을 擇(택)하시고 ^ㅗ갈대아 우르에서 引導(인도)하여 내시고 ^ㅛ아브라함이라는 이름을 주시고
   
8. ^ㅜ그 마음이 主(주) 앞에서 忠誠(충성)됨을 보시고 ^ㅠ더불어 言約(언약)을 세우사 ^으가나안 族屬(족속)과, 헷 族屬(족속)과, 아모리 族屬(족속)과, 브리스 族屬(족속)과, 여부스 族屬(족속)과, 기르가스 族屬(족속)의 땅을 그 씨에게 주리라 하시더니 ^이그 말씀대로 이루셨사오니 主(주)는 義(의)로우심이로소이다
   
9. ^ㅐ主(주)께서 우리 列祖(열조)가 애굽에서 苦難(고난) 받는 것을 監察(감찰)하시며 ^ㄱ紅海(홍해)에서 부르짖음을 들으시고
   
10. ^ㄴ異蹟(이적)과 奇事(기사)를 베푸사 바로와 그 모든 臣下(신하)와 그 나라 온 百姓(백성)을 치셨사오니 이는 ^ㄷ저희가 우리의 列祖(열조)에게 驕慢(교만)히 行(행)함을 아셨음이라 오늘날과 같이 ^ㄹ名譽(명예)를 얻으셨나이다
    

6. C'est toi, Éternel, toi seul, qui as fait les cieux, les cieux des cieux et toute leur armée, la terre et tout ce qui est sur elle, les mers et tout ce qu'elles renferment. Tu donnes la vie à toutes ces choses, et l'armée des cieux se prosterne devant toi.
   
7. C'est toi, Éternel Dieu, qui as choisi Abram, qui l'as fait sortir d'Ur en Chaldée, et qui lui as donné le nom d'Abraham.
   
8. Tu trouvas son coeur fidèle devant toi, tu fis alliance avec lui, et tu promis de donner à sa postérité le pays des Cananéens, des Héthiens, des Amoréens, des Phéréziens, des Jébusiens et des Guirgasiens. Et tu as tenu ta parole, car tu es juste.
   
9. Tu vis l'affliction de nos pères en Égypte, et tu entendis leurs cris vers la mer Rouge.
   
10. Tu opéras des miracles et des prodiges contre Pharaon, contre tous ses serviteurs et contre tout le peuple de son pays, parce que tu savais avec quelle méchanceté ils avaient traité nos pères, et tu fis paraître ta gloire comme elle paraît aujourd'hui.
    

6. You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.
   
7. "You are the LORD God, who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and named him Abraham.
   
8. You found his heart faithful to you, and you made a covenant with him to give to his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites. You have kept your promise because you are righteous.
   
9. "You saw the suffering of our forefathers in Egypt; you heard their cry at the Red Sea.
   
10. You sent miraculous signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his officials and all the people of his land, for you knew how arrogantly the Egyptians treated them. You made a name for yourself, which remains to this day.
    

11. ^ㅁ主(주)께서 또 우리 列祖(열조) 앞에서 바다를 갈라지게 하시사 저희로 바다 가운데를 陸地(륙지)같이 通過(통과)하게 하시고 쫓아 오는 者(자)를 ^ㅂ돌을 큰물에 던짐같이 깊은 물에 던지시고
    
12. ^ㅅ낮에는 구름 기둥으로 引導(인도)하시고 밤에는 불 기둥으로 그 行(행)할 길을 비취셨사오며
    
13. 또 ^ㅇ시내山(산)에 降臨(강림)하시고 ^ㅈ하늘에서부터 저희와 말씀하사 ^ㅊ正直(정직)한 規例(규례)와 眞正(진정)한 律法(률법)과 善(선)한 律例(율례)와 誡命(계명)을 저희에게 주시고
    
14. ^ㅋ거룩한 安息日(안식일)을 저희에게 알리시며 主(주)의 종 모세로 誡命(계명)과 律例(율례)와 律法(률법)을 저희에게 命(명)하시고
    
15. ^ㅌ저희의 주림을 因(인)하여 하늘에서 糧食(량식)을 주시며 ^ㅍ저희의 목마름을 因(인)하여 磐石(반석)에서 물을 내시고 또 ^ㅎ主(주)께서 옛적에 손을 들어 盟誓(맹서)하시고 주마 하신 땅을 들어가서 차지하라 命(명)하셨사오나
    

11. Tu fendis la mer devant eux, et ils passèrent à sec au milieu de la mer; mais tu précipitas dans l'abîme, comme une pierre au fond des eaux, ceux qui marchaient à leur poursuite.
    
12. Tu les guidas le jour par une colonne de nuée, et la nuit par une colonne de feu qui les éclairait dans le chemin qu'ils avaient à suivre.
    
13. Tu descendis sur la montagne de Sinaï, tu leur parlas du haut des cieux, et tu leur donnas des ordonnances justes, des lois de vérité, des préceptes et des commandements excellents.
    
14. Tu leur fis connaître ton saint sabbat, et tu leur prescrivis par Moïse, ton serviteur, des commandements, des préceptes et une loi.
    
15. Tu leur donnas, du haut des cieux, du pain quand ils avaient faim, et tu fis sortir de l'eau du rocher quand ils avaient soif. Et tu leur dis d'entrer en possession du pays que tu avais juré de leur donner.
    

11. You divided the sea before them, so that they passed through it on dry ground, but you hurled their pursuers into the depths, like a stone into mighty waters.
    
12. By day you led them with a pillar of cloud, and by night with a pillar of fire to give them light on the way they were to take.
    
13. "You came down on Mount Sinai; you spoke to them from heaven. You gave them regulations and laws that are just and right, and decrees and commands that are good.
    
14. You made known to them your holy Sabbath and gave them commands, decrees and laws through your servant Moses.
    
15. In their hunger you gave them bread from heaven and in their thirst you brought them water from the rock; you told them to go in and take possession of the land you had sworn with uplifted hand to give them.
    

16. 저희와 우리 列祖(열조)가 驕慢(교만)히 하고 ^ㅏ목을 굳게 하여 主(주)의 命令(명령)을 듣지 아니하고
    
17. 拒逆(거역)하며 ^ㅑ主(주)께서 저희 가운데 行(행)하신 奇事(기사)를 생각지 아니하고 목을 굳게하며 悖逆(패역)하여 스스로 한 頭目(두목)을 세우고 종 되었던 땅으로 돌아가고자 하였사오나 오직 主(주)는 赦宥(사유)하시는 하나님이시라 ^ㅓ恩惠(은혜)로우시며 矜恤(긍휼)히 여기시며 더디 怒(노)하시며 仁慈(인자)가 豊富(풍부)하시므로 저희를 버리지 아니하셨나이다
    
18. 또 ^ㅕ저희가 송아지를 부어 만들고 이르기를 이는 곧 너희를 引導(인도)하여 애굽에서 나오게 하신 하나님이라 하여 ^ㅗ크게 褻慢(설만)하게 하였사오나
    
19. ^ㅛ主(주)께서는 連(연)하여 矜恤(긍휼)을 베푸사 저희를 曠野(광야)에 버리지 아니하시고 낮에는 ^ㅜ구름 기둥으로 길을 引導(인도)하시며 밤에는 불 기둥으로 그 行(행)할 길을 비취사 떠나게 아니하셨사오며
    
20. 또 主(주)의 ^ㅠ善(선)한 神(신)을 주사 저희를 가르치시며 主(주)의 ^으만나로 저희 입에 끊어지지 않게 하시고 저희의 목마름을 因(인)하여 물을 주시사
    

16. Mais nos pères se livrèrent à l'orgueil et raidirent leur cou. Ils n'écoutèrent point tes commandements,
    
17. ils refusèrent d'obéir, et ils mirent en oubli les merveilles que tu avais faites en leur faveur. Ils raidirent leur cou; et, dans leur rébellion, ils se donnèrent un chef pour retourner à leur servitude. Mais toi, tu es un Dieu prêt à pardonner, compatissant et miséricordieux, lent à la colère et riche en bonté, et tu ne les abandonnas pas,
    
18. même quand ils se firent un veau en fonte et dirent: Voici ton Dieu qui t'a fait sortir d'Égypte, et qu'ils se livrèrent envers toi à de grands outrages.
    
19. Dans ton immense miséricorde, tu ne les abandonnas pas au désert, et la colonne de nuée ne cessa point de les guider le jour dans leur chemin, ni la colonne de feu de les éclairer la nuit dans le chemin qu'ils avaient à suivre.
    
20. Tu leur donnas ton bon esprit pour les rendre sages, tu ne refusas point ta manne à leur bouche, et tu leur fournis de l'eau pour leur soif.
    

16. "But they, our forefathers, became arrogant and stiff-necked, and did not obey your commands.
    
17. They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them,
    
18. even when they cast for themselves an image of a calf and said, 'This is your god, who brought you up out of Egypt,' or when they committed awful blasphemies.
    
19. "Because of your great compassion you did not abandon them in the desert. By day the pillar of cloud did not cease to guide them on their path, nor the pillar of fire by night to shine on the way they were to take.
    
20. You gave your good Spirit to instruct them. You did not withhold your manna from their mouths, and you gave them water for their thirst.
    

21. ^이四十年(사십년) 동안을 들에서 기르시되 缺乏(결핍)함이 없게 하시므로 그 옷이 해어지지 아니하였고 발이 부릍지 아니하였사오며
    
22. 또 나라들과 族屬(족속)들을 저희에게 各各(각각) 나누어 주시매 ^ㅐ저희가 시혼의 땅 곧 헤스본 王(왕)의 땅과 ^ㄱ바산 王(왕) 옥의 땅을 차지하였나이다
    
23. 主(주)께서 그 子孫(자손)을 ^ㄴ하늘의 별같이 많게 하시고 前(전)에 그 列祖(열조)에게 命(명)하사 들어가서 차지하라고 하신 땅으로 引導(인도)하여 이르게 하셨으므로
    
24. ^ㄷ그 子孫(자손)이 들어가서 땅을 차지하되 ^ㄹ主(주)께서 그 땅 가나안 居民(거민)으로 저희 앞에 服從(복종)케 하실 때에 가나안 사람과 그 王(왕)들과 本土(본토) 여러 族屬(족속)을 저희 손에 붙여 任意(임의)로 行(행)하게 하시매
    
25. 저희가 ^ㅁ堅固(견고)한 城(성)들과 ^ㅂ기름진 땅을 取(취)하고 ^ㅅ모든 아름다운 物件(물건)을 채운 집과 파서 만든 우물과 葡萄園(포도원)과 橄欖園(감람원)과 許多(허다)한 果木(과목)을 차지하여 배불리 먹어 ^ㅇ살지고 ^ㅈ主(주)의 큰 福(복)을 즐겼사오나
    

21. Pendant quarante ans, tu pourvus à leur entretien dans le désert, et ils ne manquèrent de rien, leurs vêtements ne s'usèrent point, et leurs pieds ne s'enflèrent point.
    
22. Tu leur livras des royaumes et des peuples, dont tu partageas entre eux les contrées, et ils possédèrent le pays de Sihon, roi de Hesbon, et le pays d'Og, roi de Basan.
    
23. Tu multiplias leurs fils comme les étoiles des cieux, et tu les fis entrer dans le pays dont tu avais dit à leurs pères qu'ils prendraient possession.
    
24. Et leurs fils entrèrent et prirent possession du pays; tu humilias devant eux les habitants du pays, les Cananéens, et tu les livras entre leurs mains, avec leurs rois et les peuples du pays, pour qu'ils les traitassent à leur gré.
    
25. Ils devinrent maîtres de villes fortifiées et de terres fertiles; ils possédèrent des maisons remplies de toutes sortes de biens, des citernes creusées, des vignes, des oliviers, et des arbres fruitiers en abondance; ils mangèrent, ils se rassasièrent, ils s'engraissèrent, et ils vécurent dans les délices par ta grande bonté.
    

21. For forty years you sustained them in the desert; they lacked nothing, their clothes did not wear out nor did their feet become swollen.
    
22. "You gave them kingdoms and nations, allotting to them even the remotest frontiers. They took over the country of Sihon king of Heshbon and the country of Og king of Bashan.
    
23. You made their sons as numerous as the stars in the sky, and you brought them into the land that you told their fathers to enter and possess.
    
24. Their sons went in and took possession of the land. You subdued before them the Canaanites, who lived in the land; you handed the Canaanites over to them, along with their kings and the peoples of the land, to deal with them as they pleased.
    
25. They captured fortified cities and fertile land; they took possession of houses filled with all kinds of good things, wells already dug, vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees in abundance. They ate to the full and were well-nourished; they reveled in your great goodness.
    

26. ^ㅊ저희가 오히려 順從(순종)치 아니하고 主(주)를 拒逆(거역)하며 ^ㅋ主(주)의 律法(률법)을 등 뒤에 두고 ^ㅌ主(주)께로 돌아오기를 勸勉(권면)하는 先知者(선지자)들을 ^ㅍ죽여 ^ㅎ크게 褻慢(설만)하게 行(행)하였나이다
    
27. ^ㅏ그러므로 主(주)께서 그 對敵(대적)의 손에 붙이사 困苦(곤고)를 當(당)하게 하시매 ^ㅑ저희가 患難(환난)을 當(당)하여 主(주)께 부르짖을 때에 主(주)께서 하늘에서 들으시고 크게 矜恤(긍휼)을 發(발)하사 ^ㅓ救援者(구원자)들을 주어 對敵(대적)의 손에서 救援(구원)하셨거늘
    
28. ^ㅕ저희가 平康(평강)을 얻은 後(후)에 다시 主(주) 앞에서 惡(악)을 行(행)하므로 主(주)께서 그 對敵(대적)의 손에 버려 두사 對敵(대적)에게 制御(제어)를 받게 하시다가 저희가 돌이켜서 主(주)께 부르짖으매 主(주)께서 하늘에서 들으시고 ^ㅗ여러番(번) 矜恤(긍휼)을 發(발)하사 건져내시고
    
29. 다시 主(주)의 律法(률법)을 服從(복종)하게 하시려고 警戒(경계)하셨으나 ^ㅛ저희가 驕慢(교만)히 行(행)하여 ^ㅜ사람이 遵行(준행)하면 그 가운데서 삶을 얻는 主(주)의 誡命(계명)을 듣지 아니하며 主(주)의 規例(규례)를 犯(범)하여 ^ㅠ固執(고집)하는 어깨를 내어밀며 ^으목을 굳게 하여 듣지 아니하였나이다
    
30. 그러나 主(주)께서 ^이여러 해 동안 容恕(용서)하시고 또 ^ㅐ先知者(선지자)로 말미암아 主(주)의 神(신)으로 ^ㄱ저희를 警戒(경계)하시되 ^ㄴ저희가 듣지 아니하므로 ^ㄷ列邦(열방) 사람의 손에 붙이시고도
    

26. Néanmoins, ils se soulevèrent et se révoltèrent contre toi. Ils jetèrent ta loi derrière leur dos, ils tuèrent tes prophètes qui les conjuraient de revenir à toi, et ils se livrèrent envers toi à de grands outrages.
    
27. Alors tu les abandonnas entre les mains de leurs ennemis, qui les opprimèrent. Mais, au temps de leur détresse, ils crièrent à toi; et toi, tu les entendis du haut des cieux, et, dans ta grande miséricorde, tu leur donnas des libérateurs qui les sauvèrent de la main de leurs ennemis.
    
28. Quand ils eurent du repos, ils recommencèrent à faire le mal devant toi. Alors tu les abandonnas entre les mains de leurs ennemis, qui les dominèrent. Mais, de nouveau, ils crièrent à toi; et toi, tu les entendis du haut des cieux, et, dans ta grande miséricorde, tu les délivras maintes fois.
    
29. Tu les conjuras de revenir à ta loi; et ils persévérèrent dans l'orgueil, ils n'écoutèrent point tes commandements, ils péchèrent contre tes ordonnances, qui font vivre celui qui les met en pratique, ils eurent une épaule rebelle, ils raidirent leur cou, et ils n'obéirent point.
    
30. Tu les supportas de nombreuses années, tu leur donnas des avertissements par ton esprit, par tes prophètes; et ils ne prêtèrent point l'oreille. Alors tu les livras entre les mains des peuples étrangers.
    

26. "But they were disobedient and rebelled against you; they put your law behind their backs. They killed your prophets, who had admonished them in order to turn them back to you; they committed awful blasphemies.
    
27. So you handed them over to their enemies, who oppressed them. But when they were oppressed they cried out to you. From heaven you heard them, and in your great compassion you gave them deliverers, who rescued them from the hand of their enemies.
    
28. "But as soon as they were at rest, they again did what was evil in your sight. Then you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies so that they ruled over them. And when they cried out to you again, you heard from heaven, and in your compassion you delivered them time after time.
    
29. "You warned them to return to your law, but they became arrogant and disobeyed your commands. They sinned against your ordinances, by which a man will live if he obeys them. Stubbornly they turned their backs on you, became stiff-necked and refused to listen.
    
30. For many years you were patient with them. By your Spirit you admonished them through your prophets. Yet they paid no attention, so you handed them over to the neighboring peoples.
    

31. ^ㄹ主(주)의 矜恤(긍휼)이 크시므로 저희를 ^ㅁ아주 滅(멸)하지 아니하시며 버리지도 아니하셨사오니 ^ㅂ主(주)는 恩惠(은혜)로우시고 矜恤(긍휼)히 여기시는 하나님이심이니이다
    
32. 우리 하나님이여 ^ㅅ廣大(광대)하시고 能(능)하시고 두려우시며 言約(언약)과 仁慈(인자)를 지키시는 하나님이여 우리와 우리 列王(열왕)과 方伯(방백)들과 祭司長(제사장)들과 先知者(선지자)들과 列祖(열조)와 主(주)의 모든 百姓(백성)이 ^ㅇ앗수르 列王(열왕)의 때로부터 오늘날까지 當(당)한바 患難(환난)을 이제 작게 여기시지 마옵소서
    
33. ^ㅈ그러나 우리의 當(당)한 모든 일에 主(주)는 公義(공의)로우시니 ^ㅊ우리는 惡(악)을 行(행)하였사오나 主(주)는 眞實(진실)히 行(행)하셨음이니이다
    
34. 우리 列王(열왕)과 方伯(방백)들과 祭司長(제사장)들과 列祖(열조)가 主(주)의 律法(률법)을 지키지 아니하며 主(주)의 命令(명령)과 主(주)의 警戒(경계)하신 말씀을 順從(순종)치 아니하고
    
35. ^ㅋ저희가 그 나라와 主(주)의 베푸신 ^ㅌ큰 福(복)과 自己(자기) 앞에 주신 넓고 기름진 땅을 누리면서도 主(주)를 섬기지 아니하며 惡行(악행)을 그치지 아니한故(고)로
    

31. Mais, dans ta grande miséricorde, tu ne les anéantis pas, et tu ne les abandonnas pas, car tu es un Dieu compatissant et miséricordieux.
    
32. Et maintenant, ô notre Dieu, Dieu grand, puissant et redoutable, toi qui gardes ton alliance et qui exerces la miséricorde, ne regarde pas comme peu de chose toutes les souffrances que nous avons éprouvées, nous, nos rois, nos chefs, nos sacrificateurs, nos prophètes, nos pères et tout ton peuple, depuis le temps des rois d'Assyrie jusqu'à ce jour.
    
33. Tu as été juste dans tout ce qui nous est arrivé, car tu t'es montré fidèle, et nous avons fait le mal.
    
34. Nos rois, nos chefs, nos sacrificateurs et nos pères n'ont point observé ta loi, et ils n'ont été attentifs ni à tes commandements ni aux avertissements que tu leur adressais.
    
35. Pendant qu'ils étaient les maîtres, au milieu des bienfaits nombreux que tu leur accordais, dans le pays vaste et fertile que tu leur avais livré, ils ne t'ont point servi et ils ne se sont point détournés de leurs oeuvres mauvaises.
    

31. But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
    
32. "Now therefore, O our God, the great, mighty and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love, do not let all this hardship seem trifling in your eyes--the hardship that has come upon us, upon our kings and leaders, upon our priests and prophets, upon our fathers and all your people, from the days of the kings of Assyria until today.
    
33. In all that has happened to us, you have been just; you have acted faithfully, while we did wrong.
    
34. Our kings, our leaders, our priests and our fathers did not follow your law; they did not pay attention to your commands or the warnings you gave them.
    
35. Even while they were in their kingdom, enjoying your great goodness to them in the spacious and fertile land you gave them, they did not serve you or turn from their evil ways.
    

36. ^ㅍ우리가 오늘날 종이 되었삽는데 곧 主(주)께서 우리 列祖(열조)에게 주사 그 實果(실과)를 먹고 그 아름다운 所産(소산)을 누리게 하신 땅에서 종이 되었나이다
    
37. ^ㅎ우리의 罪(죄)로 因(인)하여 主(주)께서 우리 위에 세우신 異邦(이방) 列王(열왕)이 이 땅의 많은 所産(소산)을 얻고 저희가 우리의 몸과 六畜(육축)을 任意(임의)로 管轄(관할)하오니 우리의 困難(곤난)이 甚(심)하오며
    
38. 우리가 이 모든 일을 因(인)하여 이제 ^ㅏ堅固(견고)한 言約(언약)을 세워 記錄(기록)하고 우리의 方伯(방백)들과 레위 사람들과 祭司長(제사장)들이 다 ^ㅑ印(인)을 치나이다 하였느니라
    

36. Et aujourd'hui, nous voici esclaves! Nous voici esclaves sur la terre que tu as donnée à nos pères, pour qu'ils jouissent de ses fruits et de ses biens!
    
37. Elle multiplie ses produits pour les rois auxquels tu nous as assujettis, à cause de nos péchés; ils dominent à leur gré sur nos corps et sur notre bétail, et nous sommes dans une grande angoisse!
    
38. Pour tout cela, nous contractâmes une alliance, que nous mîmes par écrit; et nos chefs, nos Lévites et nos sacrificateurs y apposèrent leur sceau.
    

36. "But see, we are slaves today, slaves in the land you gave our forefathers so they could eat its fruit and the other good things it produces.
    
37. Because of our sins, its abundant harvest goes to the kings you have placed over us. They rule over our bodies and our cattle as they please. We are in great distress.
    
38. "In view of all this, we are making a binding agreement, putting it in writing, and our leaders, our Levites and our priests are affixing their seals to it."
