Denn das "Land," da du hin "kommst," ist nicht wie "Ägyptenland," davon ihr ausgezogen "seid," da du deinen Samen säen und selbst tränken mußtest wie einen Kohlgarten;

and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab the Reubenite, when the earth opened its mouth right in the middle of all Israel and swallowed them up with their households, their tents and every living thing that belonged to them.

But it was your own eyes that saw all these great things the LORD has done.

Observe therefore all the commands I am giving you today, so that you may have the strength to go in and take over the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess,

and so that you may live long in the land that the LORD swore to your forefathers to give to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden.

^ㅈ너희가 건너가서 얻을 땅은 山(산)과 골짜기가 있어서 하늘에서 내리는 비를 吸收(흡수)하는 땅이요

네 하나님 여호와께서 眷顧(권고)하시는 땅이라 歲初(세초)부터 歲末(세말)까지 네 하나님 여호와의 눈이 ^ㅊ恒常(항상) 그 위에 있느니라

내가 오늘날 너희에게 命(명)하는 나의 命令(명령)을 너희가 萬一(만일) 聽從(청종)하고 ^ㅋ너희의 하나님 여호와를 사랑하여 마음을 다하고 性稟(성품)을 다하여 섬기면

^ㅌ여호와께서 너희 땅에 ^ㅍ이른 비, 늦은 비를 適當(적당)한 때에 내리시리니 너희가 穀食(곡식)과 葡萄酒(포도주)와 기름을 얻을 것이요

또 ^ㅎ六畜(육축)을 爲(위)하여 들에 풀이 나게 하시리니 ^ㅏ네가 먹고 배부를 것이라

sondern es hat Berge und "Auen," die der Regen vom Himmel "tränkt,"

auf welch Land der "HERR," dein "Gott," acht hat und die Augen des "HERRN," deines "Gottes," immerdar "sehen," von Anfang des Jahres bis ans Ende.

Werdet ihr nun meine Gebote "hören," die ich euch "gebiete," daß ihr den "HERRN," euren "Gott," liebet und ihm dienet von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer "Seele,"

so will ich eurem Land Regen geben zu seiner "Zeit," Frühregen und "Spätregen," daß du einsammelst dein "Getreide," deinen Most und dein "Öl,"

und will deinem Vieh Gras geben auf deinem "Felde," daß ihr esset und satt werdet.

But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven.

It is a land the LORD your God cares for; the eyes of the LORD your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.

So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today--to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul--

then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil.

I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.

너희는 스스로 삼가라 두렵건대 ^ㅑ마음에 迷惑(미혹)하여 돌이켜 ^ㅓ다른 神(신)들을 섬기며 그것에 절하므로

^ㅕ여호와께서 너희에게 震怒(진노)하사 ^ㅗ하늘을 닫아 비를 내리지 아니하여 땅으로 所産(소산)을 내지 않게 하시므로 너희가 여호와의 주신 ^ㅛ아름다운 땅에서 速(속)히 滅亡(멸망)할까 하노라

이러므로 ^ㅜ너희는 나의 이 말을 너희 마음과 뜻에 두고 또 그것으로 ^ㅠ너희 손목에 매어 記號(기호)를 삼고 너희 眉間(미간)에 붙여 標(표)를 삼으며

또 그것을 너희의 子女(자녀)에게 가르치며 집에 앉았을 때에든지, 길에 行(행)할 때에든지, 누웠을 때에든지, 일어날 때에든지 이 말씀을 講論(강론)하고

^으또 네 집 門楔柱(문설주)와 바깥 門(문)에 記錄(기록)하라

Hütet euch "aber," daß sich euer Herz nicht überreden "lasse," daß ihr abweichet und dienet andern Göttern und betet sie "an,"

und daß dann der Zorn des HERRN ergrimme über euch und schließe den Himmel "zu," daß kein Regen komme und die Erde ihr Gewächs nicht gebe und ihr bald umkommt von dem guten "Lande," das euch der HERR gegeben hat.

So fasset nun diese Worte zu Herzen und in eure Seele und bindet sie zum Zeichen auf eure "Hand," daß sie ein Denkmal vor euren Augen seien.

Und lehret sie eure "Kinder," daß du davon "redest," wenn du in deinem Hause sitzest oder auf dem Wege "gehst," wenn du dich niederlegst und wenn du aufstehst;

und schreibe sie an die Pfosten deines Hauses und an die "Tore,"

Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.

Then the LORD'S anger will burn against you, and he will shut the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the LORD is giving you.

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates,

그리하면 ^이여호와께서 너희 列祖(열조)에게 주리라고 盟誓(맹서)하신 땅에서 너희의 날과 너희 子女(자녀)의 날이 많아서 ^ㅐ하늘이 땅을 덮는 날의 長久(장구)함 같으리라

너희가 萬一(만일) 내가 너희에게 命(명)하는 ^ㄱ이 모든 命令(명령)을 잘 지켜 行(행)하여 너희 하나님 여호와를 사랑하고 그 모든 道(도)를 行(행)하여 그에게 ^ㄴ附從(부종)하면

여호와께서 ^ㄷ그 모든 나라 百姓(백성)을 너희 앞에서 다 쫓아내실 것이라 너희가 ^ㄹ너희보다 强大(강대)한 나라들을 얻을 것인즉

^ㅁ너희의 발바닥으로 밟는 곳은 다 너희 所有(소유)가 되리니 너희의 境界(경계)는 곧 ^ㅂ曠野(광야)에서부터 레바논까지와 유브라데 河水(하수)라 하는 河水(하수)에서 ^ㅅ西海(서해)까지라

너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 ^ㅇ말씀하신 대로 너희 밟는 모든 땅 사람들로 ^ㅈ너희를 두려워하고 무서워하게 하시리니 ^ㅊ너희를 能(능)히 當(당)할 사람이 없으리라

daß du und deine Kinder lange leben in dem "Lande," das der HERR deinen Vätern geschworen hat ihnen zu "geben," solange die Tage vom Himmel auf Erden währen.

Denn wo ihr diese Gebote alle werdet "halten," die ich euch "gebiete," daß ihr darnach "tut," daß ihr den "HERRN," euren "Gott," liebet und wandelt in allen seinen Wegen und ihm "anhanget,"

so wir der HERR alle diese Völker vor euch her "ausstoßen," daß ihr größere und stärkere Völker "vertreibt," denn ihr seid.

Alle "Orte," darauf eure Fußsohle "tritt," sollen euer sein; von der Wüste an und von dem Berge Libanon und von dem Wasser Euphrat bis ans Meer gegen Abend soll eure Grenze sein.

Niemand wird euch widerstehen können. Furcht und Schrecken vor euch wird der HERR über alles Land kommen "lassen," darauf ihr "tretet," wie er euch verheißen hat.

so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the LORD swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow--to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways and to hold fast to him--

then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you.

Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the western sea.

No man will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

^ㅋ내가 오늘날 福(복)과 詛呪(저주)를 너희 앞에 두나니

너희가 萬一(만일) 내가 오늘날 너희에게 命(명)하는 너희 하나님 여호와의 命令(명령)을 들으면 ^ㅌ福(복)이 될 것이요

너희가 萬一(만일) 내가 오늘날 너희에게 命(명)하는 道(도)에서 돌이켜 떠나 너희 하나님 여호와의 命令(명령)을 듣지 아니하고 本來(본래) 알지 못하던 ^ㅍ다른 神(신)들을 좇으면 ^ㅎ詛呪(저주)를 받으리라

네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 가서 얻을 땅으로 너를 引導(인도)하여 들이실 때에 너는 그리심山(산)에서 ^ㅏ祝福(축복)을 宣布(선포)하고 에발山(산)에서 詛呪(저주)를 宣布(선포)하라

이 두 山(산)은 요단江(강) 저便(편) 곧 해 지는 便(편)으로 가는 길 뒤 길갈 맞은便(편) 모레 ^ㅑ상수리나무 곁의 ^ㅓ아라바에 居(거)하는 가나안 族屬(족속)의 땅에 있지 아니하냐

Siehe, ich lege euch heute vor den Segen und den Fluch:

den Segen so ihr gehorchet den Geboten des "Herrn," eures "Gottes," die ich euch heute gebiete;

den Fluch "aber," so ihr nicht gehorchen werdet den Geboten des "HERRN," eures "Gottes," und abweichet von dem "Wege," den ich euch heute "gebiete," daß ihr andern Göttern "nachwandelt," die ihr nicht kennt.

Wenn dich der "HERR," dein "Gott," in das Land "bringt," da du "hineinkommst," daß du es "einnehmest," so sollst du den Segen sprechen lassen auf dem Berge Garizim und den Fluch auf dem Berge "Ebal,"

welche sind jenseit des "Jordans," der Straße nach gegen der Sonne "Niedergang," im Lande der "Kanaaniter," die auf dem Blachfelde "wohnen," Gilgal "gegenüber," bei dem Hain More.

See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse--

the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today;

the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.

When the LORD your God has brought you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim on Mount Gerizim the blessings, and on Mount Ebal the curses.

As you know, these mountains are across the Jordan, west of the road, toward the setting sun, near the great trees of Moreh, in the territory of those Canaanites living in the Arabah in the vicinity of Gilgal.

너희가 ^ㅕ요단을 건너 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 주시는 땅에 들어가서 얻으려 하나니 반드시 그것을 얻어 거기 居(거)할지라

내가 오늘날 너희 앞에 베푸는 ^ㅗ모든 規例(규례)와 法度(법도)를 너희는 지켜 行(행)할지니라

Denn ihr werdet über den Jordan "gehen," daß ihr "hineinkommet," das Land "einzunehmen," das euch der "HERR," euer "Gott," gegeben "hat," daß ihr's einnehmet und darin wohnet.

So haltet "nun," daß ihr tut nach allen Geboten und "Rechten," die ich euch heute vorlege.

You are about to cross the Jordan to enter and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you. When you have taken it over and are living there,

be sure that you obey all the decrees and laws I am setting before you today.
