  1. 너는 이스라엘 方伯(방백)들을 爲(위)하여 哀歌(애가)를 지어
  2. 부르기를 네 어미는 무엇이냐 암獅子(사자)라 그가 獅子(사자)들 가운데 엎드리어 젊은 獅子(사자) 中(중)에서 그 새끼를 기르는데
  3. 그 새끼 하나를 키우매 젊은 獅子(사자)가 되어 植物(식물) 움키기를 배워 사람을 삼키매
  4. 異邦(이방)이 듣고 陷穽(함정)으로 그를 잡아 갈고리로 꿰어끌고 애굽 땅으로 간지라
  5. 암獅子(사자)가 기다리다가 所望(소망)이 끊어진 줄을 알고 그 새끼 하나를 또 取(취)하여 젊은 獅子(사자)가 되게 하니

  1. Du aber mache eine Wehklage über die Fürsten Israels
  2. und sprich: Warum liegt deine "Mutter," die "Löwin," unter den Löwen und erzieht ihre Jungen unter den Löwen?
  3. Deren eines zog sie "auf," und ward ein junger Löwe "daraus," der gewöhnte "sich," die Leute zu zerreißen und zu fressen.
  4. Da das die Heiden von ihm "hörten," fingen sie ihn in ihren Gruben und führten ihn an Ketten nach Ägyptenland.
  5. Da nun die Mutter "sah," daß ihre Hoffnung verloren "war," da sie lange gehofft "hatte," nahm sie ein anderes aus ihren Jungen heraus und machte einen jungen Löwen daraus.
  1. "Take up a lament concerning the princes of Israel
  2. and say: "'What a lioness was your mother among the lions! She lay down among the young lions and reared her cubs.
  3. She brought up one of her cubs, and he became a strong lion. He learned to tear the prey and he devoured men.
  4. The nations heard about him, and he was trapped in their pit. They led him with hooks to the land of Egypt.
  5. "'When she saw her hope unfulfilled, her expectation gone, she took another of her cubs and made him a strong lion.
  1. 젊은 獅子(사자)가 되매 여러 獅子(사자) 가운데 往來(왕래)하며 植物(식물) 움키기를 배워 사람을 삼키며
  2. 그의 宮室(궁실)들을 헐고 城邑(성읍)들을 毁破(훼파)하니 그 우는 소리로 因(인)하여 땅과 그 가득한 것이 荒蕪(황무)한지라
  3. 異邦(이방)이 둘려 있는 地方(지방)에서 그를 치러 와서 그의 위에 그물을 치고 陷穽(함정)에 잡아
  4. 갈고리로 꿰고 鐵籠(철롱)에 넣어 끌고 바벨론 王(왕)에게 이르렀나니 그를 獄(옥)에 가두어서 그 소리로 다시 이스라엘 山(산)에 들리지 않게 하려 함이니라
  5. 네 피의 어미는 물 가에 심긴 葡萄(포도)나무 같아서 물이 많으므로 實果(실과)가 많고 가지가 茂盛(무성)하며

  1. Da er unter den Löwen wandelte ward er ein junger Löwe; der gewöhnte sich "auch," die Leute zu zerreißen und zu fressen.
  2. Er verderbte ihre Paläste und verwüstete ihre "Städte," daß das Land und was darin "ist," vor der Stimme seines Brüllens sich entsetzte.
  3. Da legten sich die Heiden aus allen Ländern ringsumher und warfen ein Netz über ihn und fingen ihn in ihren Gruben
  4. und stießen ihn gebunden in einen Käfig und führten ihn zum König zu Babel; und man ließ ihn "verwahren," daß seine Stimme nicht mehr gehört würde auf den Bergen Israels.
  5. Deine Mutter war wie ein "Weinstock," gleich wie du am Wasser gepflanzt; und seine Frucht und Reben wuchsen von dem großen "Wasser," {~} {~}
  1. He prowled among the lions, for he was now a strong lion. He learned to tear the prey and he devoured men.
  2. He broke down their strongholds and devastated their towns. The land and all who were in it were terrified by his roaring.
  3. Then the nations came against him, those from regions round about. They spread their net for him, and he was trapped in their pit.
  4. With hooks they pulled him into a cage and brought him to the king of Babylon. They put him in prison, so his roar was heard no longer on the mountains of Israel.
  5. "'Your mother was like a vine in your vineyard planted by the water; it was fruitful and full of branches because of abundant water.
  1. 그 가지들은 堅强(견강)하여 權勢(권세) 잡은 者(자)의 笏(홀)이 될만한데 그 하나의 키가 굵은 가지 가운데서 높았으며 많은 가지 가운데서 뛰어나서 보이다가
  2. 憤怒(분노) 中(중)에 뽑혀서 땅에 던짐을 當(당)하매 그 實果(실과)는 東風(동풍)에 마르고 그 堅强(견강)한 가지들은 꺾이고 말라 불에 탔더니
  3. 이제는 曠野(광야), 메마르고 가물이 든 땅에 심긴바 되고
  4. 불이 그 가지 中(중) 하나에서부터 나와서 그 實果(실과)를 태우니 權勢(권세) 잡은 者(자)의 笏(홀)이 될만한 堅强(견강)한 가지가 없도다 이것이 哀歌(애가)라 後(후)에도 哀歌(애가)가 되리라

  1. daß seine Reben so stark "wurden," daß sie zu Herrenzeptern gut "waren," und er ward hoch unter den Reben. Und da man "sah," daß er so hoch war und viel Reben "hatte,"
  2. ward er mit Grimm ausgerissen und zu Boden geworfen; der Ostwind verdorrte seine "Frucht," und seine starken Reben wurden "zerbrochen," daß sie verdorrten und verbrannt wurden.
  3. Nun aber ist er gepflanzt in der "Wüste," in einem "dürren," durstigen "Lande,"
  4. und ist ein Feuer ausgegangen von seinen starken "Reben," das verzehrte seine "Frucht," daß in ihm keine starke Rebe mehr ist zu einem "Herrenzepter," das ist ein kläglich und jämmerlich Ding.
  1. Its branches were strong, fit for a ruler's scepter. It towered high above the thick foliage, conspicuous for its height and for its many branches.
  2. But it was uprooted in fury and thrown to the ground. The east wind made it shrivel, it was stripped of its fruit; its strong branches withered and fire consumed them.
  3. Now it is planted in the desert, in a dry and thirsty land.
  4. Fire spread from one of its main branches and consumed its fruit. No strong branch is left on it fit for a ruler's scepter.' This is a lament and is to be used as a lament."
