1. 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
   
2. 너희가 이스라엘 땅에 對(대)한 ^ㅜ俗談(속담)에 이르기를 ^ㅠ아비가 신 葡萄(포도)를 먹었으므로 아들의 이가 시다고 함은 어찜이뇨
   
3. 나 主(주) 여호와가 말하노라 ^으내가 나의 삶을 두고 盟誓(맹서)하노니 ^이너희가 이스라엘 가운데서 다시는 이 俗談(속담)을 쓰지 못하게 되리라
   
4. 모든 靈魂(령혼)이 다 내게 屬(속)한지라 아비의 靈魂(령혼)이 내게 屬(속)함 같이 아들의 靈魂(령혼)도 내게 屬(속)하였나니 ^ㅐ犯罪(범죄)하는 그 靈魂(령혼)이 죽으리라
   
5. 사람이 萬一(만일) 義(의)로워서 ^ㄱ法(법)과 義(의)를 따라 行(행)하며
   

1. Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
   
2. Was treibt ihr unter euch im Lande Israel dies Sprichwort und sprecht: Die Väter haben Herlinge "gegessen," aber den Kindern sind die Zähne davon stumpf "geworden""""?"
   
3. So wahr als ich "lebe," spricht der HERR "HERR," solches Sprichwort soll nicht mehr unter euch gehen in Israel.
   
4. Denn "siehe," alle Seelen sind mein; des Vaters Seele ist sowohl mein als des Sohnes Seele. Welche Seele "sündigt," die soll sterben.
   
5. Wenn nun einer fromm "ist," der recht und wohl "tut,"
   

1. The word of the LORD came to me:
   
2. "What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel: "'The fathers eat sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge'?
   
3. "As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel.
   
4. For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son--both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die.
   
5. "Suppose there is a righteous man who does what is just and right.
   

6. ^ㄴ山(산) 위에서 祭物(제물)을 먹지 아니하며 이스라엘 族屬(족속)의 偶像(우상)에게 ^ㄷ눈을 들지 아니하며 ^ㄹ이웃의 아내를 더럽히지 아니하며 ^ㅁ月經(월경) 中(중)에 있는 女人(녀인)을 ^ㅂ가까이 하지 아니하며
   
7. ^ㅅ사람이 虐待(학대)하지 아니하며 ^ㅇ빚진 者(자)의 典當物(전당물)을 도로 주며 ^ㅈ抑奪(억탈)하지 아니하며 ^ㅊ주린 者(자)에게 植物(식물)을 주며 벗은 者(자)에게 옷을 입히며
   
8. ^ㅋ邊(변)을 爲(위)하여 꾸이지 아니하며 利息(이식)을 받지 아니하며 스스로 손을 金(금)하여 罪惡(죄악)을 짓지 아니하며 ^ㅌ사람 사람 사이에 眞實(진실)히 判斷(판단)하며
   
9. ^ㅍ내 律例(율례)를 좇으며 내 規例(규례)를 지켜 眞實(진실)히 行(행)할진대 ^ㅎ그는 義人(의인)이니 ^ㅏ丁寧(정녕) 살리라 나 主(주) 여호와의 말이니라
   
10. 假令(가령) 그가 아들을 낳았다 하자 그 아들이 이 모든 善(선)은 하나도 行(행)치 아니하고 이 惡(악) 中(중) 하나를 犯(범)하여 强暴(강포)하거나 ^ㅑ殺人(살인)하거나
    

6. der auf den Bergen nicht "isset," der seine Augen nicht aufhebt zu den Götzen des Hauses Israel und seines Nächsten Weib nicht befleckt und liegt nicht bei der Frau in ihrer "Krankheit,"
   
7. der niemand "beschädigt," der dem Schuldner sein Pfand "wiedergibt," der niemand etwas mit Gewalt "nimmt," der dem Hungrigen sein Brot mitteilt und den Nackten "kleidet,"
   
8. der nicht "wuchert," der nicht Zins "nimmt," der seine Hand vom Unrechten "kehrt," der zwischen den Leuten recht "urteilt,"
   
9. der nach meinen Rechten wandelt und meine Gebote "hält," daß er ernstlich darnach tue: das ist ein frommer "Mann," der soll das leben "haben," spricht der HERR HERR.
   
10. Wenn er aber einen Sohn "zeugt," und derselbe wird ein "Mörder," der Blut vergießt oder dieser Stücke eins "tut,"
    

6. He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of the house of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor's wife or lie with a woman during her period.
   
7. He does not oppress anyone, but returns what he took in pledge for a loan. He does not commit robbery but gives his food to the hungry and provides clothing for the naked.
   
8. He does not lend at usury or take excessive interest. He withholds his hand from doing wrong and judges fairly between man and man.
   
9. He follows my decrees and faithfully keeps my laws. That man is righteous; he will surely live, declares the Sovereign LORD.
   
10. "Suppose he has a violent son, who sheds blood or does any of these other things
    

11. ^ㅓ山(산) 위에서 祭物(제물)을 먹거나 ^ㅕ이웃의 아내를 더럽히거나
    
12. 가난하고 窮乏(궁핍)한 者(자)를 虐待(학대)하거나 ^ㅗ抑奪(억탈)하거나 빚진 者(자)의 典當物(전당물)을 도로 주지 아니하거나 偶像(우상)에게 ^ㅛ눈을 들거나 ^ㅜ可憎(가증)한 일을 行(행)하거나
    
13. ^ㅠ邊(변)을 爲(위)하여 꾸이거나 利息(이식)을 받거나 할진대 그가 살겠느냐 살지 못하리니 이 모든 可憎(가증)한 일을 行(행)하였은즉 丁寧(정녕) 죽을지라 ^으自己(자기)의 피가 自己(자기)에게 돌아가리라
    
14. 또 假令(가령) 그가 아들을 낳았다 하자 그 아들이 그 아비의 行(행)한 모든 罪(죄)를 보고 두려워하여 ^이그대로 行(행)하지 아니하고
    
15. 山(산) 위에서 祭物(제물)을 먹지도 아니하며 이스라엘 族屬(족속)의 偶像(우상)에게 눈을 들지도 아니하며 이웃의 아내를 더럽히지도 아니하며
    

11. und der andern Stücke keins "tut," sondern auf den Bergen isset und seines Nächsten Weib "befleckt,"
    
12. die Armen und Elenden "beschädigt," mit Gewalt etwas "nimmt," das Pfand nicht "wiedergibt," seine Augen zu den Götzen aufhebt und einen Greuel "begeht,"
    
13. auf Wucher "gibt," Zins nimmt: sollte der Leben? Er soll nicht "leben," sondern weil er solche Greuel alle getan "hat," soll er des Todes sterben; sein Blut soll auf ihm sein.
    
14. Wo er aber einen Sohn "zeugt," der solche Sünden "sieht," so sein Vater "tut," und sich fürchtet und nicht also "tut,"
    
15. ißt nicht auf den "Bergen," hebt seine Augen nicht auf zu den Götzen des Hauses "Israel," befleckt nicht seines Nächsten "Weib,"
    

11. (though the father has done none of them): "He eats at the mountain shrines. He defiles his neighbor's wife.
    
12. He oppresses the poor and needy. He commits robbery. He does not return what he took in pledge. He looks to the idols. He does detestable things.
    
13. He lends at usury and takes excessive interest. Will such a man live? He will not! Because he has done all these detestable things, he will surely be put to death and his blood will be on his own head.
    
14. "But suppose this son has a son who sees all the sins his father commits, and though he sees them, he does not do such things:
    
15. "He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of the house of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor's wife.
    

16. 사람을 虐待(학대)하지˹ ˹ 埠ʞ Ꙑʧ ˹ ˹ 䀀 ˹ 전당)을 잡지도 아니하며 抑奪(억탈)하지도 아니하고 ^ㄱ주린 者(자)에게 植物(식물)을 주며 벗은 者(자)에게 옷을 입히며
    
17. 손을 禁(금)하여 가난한 者(자)를 壓制(압제)하지 아니하며 邊(변)이나 利息(이식)을 取(취)하지 아니하여 ^ㄴ내 規例(규례)를 지키며 내 律例(율례)를 行(행)할진대 이 사람은 그 아비의 罪惡(죄악)으로 因(인)하여 죽지 아니하고 ^ㄷ丁寧(정녕) 살겠고
    
18. 그 아비는 甚(심)히 暴虐(포학)하여 그 同族(동족)을 抑奪(억탈)하고 民間(민간)에 不善(불선)을 行(행)하였으므로 ^ㄹ그는 그 罪惡(죄악)으로 因(인)하여 죽으리라
    
19. 그런데 너희는 이르기를 아들이 ^ㅁ어찌 아비의 罪(죄)를 擔當(담당)치 않겠느뇨 하는도다 아들이 ^ㅂ法(법)과 義(의)를 行(행)하며 내 모든 律例(율례)를 지켜 行(행)하였으면 ^ㅅ그는 丁寧(정녕) 살려니와
    
20. ^ㅇ犯罪(범죄)하는 그 靈魂(령혼)은 죽을지라 ^ㅈ아들은 아비의 罪惡(죄악)을 擔當(담당)치 아니할 것이요 아비는 아들의 罪惡(죄악)을 擔當(담당)치 아니하리니 ^ㅊ義人(의인)의 義(의)도 自己(자기)에게로 돌아 가고 ^ㅋ惡人(악인)의 惡(악)도 自己(자기)에게로 돌아가리라
    

16. beschädigt "niemand," behält das Pfand "nicht," nimmt nicht mit Gewalt "etwas," teilt sein Brot mit dem Hungrigen und kleidet den "Nackten,"
    
17. der seine Hand vom Unrechten "kehrt," keinen Wucher noch Zins "nimmt," sondern meine Gebote hält und nach meinen Rechten lebt: der soll nicht sterben um seines Vaters Missetat "willen," sondern leben.
    
18. Aber sein "Vater," der Gewalt und Unrecht geübt hat und unter seinem Volk getan "hat," was nicht "taugt," "siehe," der soll sterben um seiner Missetat willen. {~} {~} {~}
    
19. So sprecht ihr: Warum soll denn ein Sohn nicht tragen seines Vaters Missetat? Darum daß er recht und wohl getan und alle meine Rechte gehalten und getan "hat," soll er leben.
    
20. Denn welche Seele "sündigt," die soll sterben. Der Sohn soll nicht tragen die Missetat des "Vaters," und der Vater soll nicht tragen die Missetat des Sohnes; sondern des Gerechten Gerechtigkeit soll über ihm sein.
    

16. He does not oppress anyone or require a pledge for a loan. He does not commit robbery but gives his food to the hungry and provides clothing for the naked.
    
17. He withholds his hand from sin and takes no usury or excessive interest. He keeps my laws and follows my decrees. He will not die for his father's sin; he will surely live.
    
18. But his father will die for his own sin, because he practiced extortion, robbed his brother and did what was wrong among his people.
    
19. "Yet you ask, 'Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?' Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live.
    
20. The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.
    

21. ^ㅌ그러나 惡人(악인)이 萬一(만일) 그 行(행)한 모든 罪(죄)에서 돌이켜 떠나 내 모든 律例(율례)를 지키고 ^ㅍ法(법)과 義(의)를 行(행)하면 ^ㅎ丁寧(정녕) 살고 죽지 아니할 것이라
    
22. ^ㅏ그 犯罪(범죄)한 것이 하나도 記憶(기억)함이 되지 아니하리니 그 行(행)한 義(의)로 因(인)하여 살리라
    
23. 나 主(주) 여호와가 말하노라 ^ㅑ내가 어찌 惡人(악인)의 죽는 것을 조금인들 기뻐하랴 그가 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나서 사는 것을 어찌 기뻐하지 아니하겠느냐
    
24. ^ㅓ萬一(만일) 義人(의인)이 돌이켜 그 義(의)에서 떠나서 犯罪(범죄)하고 惡人(악인)의 行(행)하는 모든 可憎(가증)한 일대로 行(행)하면 살겠느냐 ^ㅕ그 行(행)한 義(의)로운 일은 하나도 記憶(기억)함이 되지 아니하리니 ^ㅗ그가 그 犯(범)한 허물과 그 지은 罪(죄)로 因(인)하여 죽으리라
    
25. 그런데 너희는 ^ㅛ이르기를 主(주)의 길이 公平(공평)치 않다 하는도다 이스라엘 族屬(족속)아 들을지어다 내 길이 어찌 公平(공평)치 아니하냐 너희 길이 公平(공평)치 않은 것이 아니냐
    

21. Wo sich aber der Gottlose bekehrt von allen seine "Sünden," die er getan "hat," und hält alle meine Rechte und tut recht und "wohl," so soll er leben und nicht sterben.
    
22. Es soll aller seiner "Übertretung," so er begangen "hat," nicht gedacht werden; sondern er soll leben um der Gerechtigkeit "willen," die er tut.
    
23. Meinest "du," daß ich Gefallen habe am Tode des "Gottlosen," spricht der "HERR," und nicht "vielmehr," daß er sich bekehre von seinem Wesen und lebe? {~}
    
24. Und wo sich der Gerechte kehrt von seiner Gerechtigkeit und tut Böses und lebt nach all den "Greueln," die ein Gottloser "tut," sollte der leben? "Ja," aller seiner "Gerechtigkeit," die er getan "hat," soll nicht gedacht werden; sondern in seiner Übertretung und "Sünde," die er getan "hat," soll er sterben. {~}
    
25. Doch sprecht ihr: Der HERR handelt nicht recht. So hört "nun," ihr vom Hause Israel: Ist's nicht "also," daß ich recht habe und ihr unrecht habt?
    

21. "But if a wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die.
    
22. None of the offenses he has committed will be remembered against him. Because of the righteous things he has done, he will live.
    
23. Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?
    
24. "But if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked man does, will he live? None of the righteous things he has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness he is guilty of and because of the sins he has committed, he will die.
    
25. "Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' Hear, O house of Israel: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust?
    

26. 萬一(만일) 義人(의인)이 그 義(의)를 떠나 罪惡(죄악)을 行(행)하고 因(인)하여 죽으면 그 行(행)한 罪惡(죄악)으로 因(인)하여 죽는 것이요
    
27. ^ㅜ萬一(만일) 惡人(악인)이 그 行(행)한 惡(악)을 떠나 法(법)과 義(의)를 行(행)하면 그 靈魂(령혼)을 保全(보전)하리라
    
28. ^ㅠ그가 스스로 헤아리고 그 行(행)한 모든 罪惡(죄악)에서 돌이켜 떠났으니 丁寧(정녕) 살고 죽지 아니하리라
    
29. 그런데 이스라엘 族屬(족속)은 이르기를 主(주)의 길이 公平(공평)치 않다 하는도다 이스라엘 族屬(족속)아 나의 길이 어찌 公平(공평)치 아니하냐 너희 길이 公平(공평)치 않은 것이 아니냐
    
30. 나 主(주) 여호와가 말하노라 이스라엘 族屬(족속)아 ^으내가 너희 各(각) 사람의 行(행)한대로 鞫問(국문)할지니라 너희는 ^이돌이켜 悔改(회개)하고 모든 罪(죄)에서 떠날지어다 ^ㅐ그리한즉 罪惡(죄악)이 너희를 敗亡(패망)케 아니하리라
    

26. Denn wenn der Gerechte sich kehrt von seiner Gerechtigkeit und tut "Böses," so muß er sterben; er muß aber um seiner Bosheit "willen," die er getan "hat," sterben.
    
27. Wiederum, wenn der Gottlose kehrt von seiner "Ungerechtigkeit," die er getan "hat," und tut nun recht und "wohl," der wird seine Seele lebendig erhalten.
    
28. Denn weil er sieht und bekehrt sich von aller "Bosheit," die er getan "hat," so soll er leben und nicht sterben.
    
29. Doch sprechen die vom Hause Israel: Der HERR handelt nicht recht. Sollte ich Unrecht haben? Ihr vom Hau˹ ˹ 埠ʞ Ꙑʧ ˹ ˹ 䀀 ˹ color=#000000>Darum will ich euch "richten," ihr vom Hause Israel einen jeglichen nach seinem "Wesen," spricht der HERR HERR. Darum so bekehrt euch von aller "Übertretung," auf daß ihr nicht fallen müsset um der Missetat willen. {~}
    

26. If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin, he will die for it; because of the sin he has committed he will die.
    
27. But if a wicked man turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he will save his life.
    
28. Because he considers all the offenses he has committed and turns away from them, he will surely live; he will not die.
    
29. Yet the house of Israel says, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' Are my ways unjust, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust?
    
30. "Therefore, O house of Israel, I will judge you, each one according to his ways, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
    

31. 너희는 犯(범)한 모든 罪惡(죄악)을 ^ㄱ버리고 ^ㄴ마음과 靈(영)을 새롭게 할지어다 이스라엘 族屬(족속)아 너희가 ^ㄷ어찌하여 죽고자 하느냐
    
32. 나 主(주) 여호와가 말하노라 ^ㄹ죽는 者(자)의 죽는 것은 내가 기뻐하지 아니하노니 너희는 스스로 돌이키고 살지니라
    

31. Werfet von euch alle eure "Übertretung," damit ihr übertreten "habt," und machet euch ein neues Herz und einen neuen Geist. Denn warum willst du "sterben," du Haus Israel?
    
32. Denn ich habe keinen Gefallen am Tode des "Sterbenden," spricht der HERR HERR. Darum bekehrt "euch," so werdet ihr leben.
    

31. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel?
    
32. For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!
