1. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
   
2. ^ㅗ人子(인자)야 너는 ^ㅛ네 民族(민족)에게 告(고)하여 이르라 假令(가령) ^ㅜ내가 칼을 한 땅에 臨(임)하게 한다 하자 그 땅 百姓(백성)이 自己(자기) 中(중)에 하나를 擇(택)하여 ^ㅠ把守軍(파수군)을 삼은
   
3. 그 사람이 칼이 그 땅에 臨(임)함을 보고 ^으나팔을 불어 百姓(백성)에게 警告(경고)하되
   
4. 나팔 소리를 듣고도 警備(경비)를 하지 아니하므로 그 臨(임)하는 칼에 除(제)함을 當(당)하면 ^이그 피가 自己(자기)의 머리로 돌아갈 것이라
   
5. 그가 警備(경비)를 하였던들 自己(자기) 生命(생명)을 保全(보전)하였을 것이나 ^ㅐ나팔 소리를 듣고도 警備(경비)를 하지 아니하였으니 그 피가 自己(자기)에게로 돌아가리라
   

1. Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
   
2. Du "Menschenkind," predige den Kindern deines Volkes und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ich ein Schwert über das Land führen "würde," und das Volk im Lande nähme einen Mann unter ihnen und machten ihn zu ihrem "Wächter,"
   
3. und er sähe das Schwert kommen über das Land und bliese die Drommete und warnte das "Volk,"
   
4. wer nun der Drommete Hall hörte und wollte sich nicht warnen "lassen," und das Schwert käme und nähme ihn weg: desselben Blut sei auf seinem Kopf;
   
5. denn er hat der Drommete Hall gehört und hat sich dennoch nicht warnen lassen; darum sei sein Blut auf ihm. Wer sich aber warnen "läßt," der wird sein Leben davonbringen.
   

1. The word of the LORD came to me:
   
2. "Son of man, speak to your countrymen and say to them: 'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman,
   
3. and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people,
   
4. then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head.
   
5. Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself.
   

6. ^ㄱ그러나 把守軍(파수군)이 칼이 臨(임)함을 보고도 나팔을 불지 아니하여 百姓(백성)에게 警告(경고)치 아니하므로 그 中(중)에 한 사람이 그 臨(임)하는 칼에 除(제)함을 當(당)하면 그는 自己(자기) 罪惡(죄악) 中(중)에서 除(제)한바 되려니와 그 罪(죄)를 내가 把守軍(파수군)의 손에서 찾으리라
   
7. 人子(인자)야 ^ㄴ내가 너로 이스라엘 族屬(족속)의 把守軍(파수군)을 삼음이 이와 같으니라 그런즉 너는 내 입의 말을 듣고 나를 代身(대신)하여 그들에게 警告(경고)할지어다
   
8. ^ㄷ假令(가령) 내가 惡人(악인)에게 이르기를 惡人(악인)아 너는 丁寧(정녕) 죽으리라 하였다하자 네가 그 惡人(악인)에게 말로 警告(경고)하여 그 길에서 떠나게 아니하면 그 惡人(악인)은 自己(자기) 罪惡(죄악) 中(중)에서 죽으려니와 내가 그 피를 네 손에서 찾으리라
   
9. ^ㄹ그러나 너는 惡人(악인)에게 警告(경고)하여 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나라고 하되 그가 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나지 아니하면 그는 自己(자기) 罪惡(죄악) 中(중)에서 죽으려니와 ^ㅁ너는 네 生命(생명)을 保全(보전)하리라
   
10. 그런즉 ^ㅂ人子(인자)야 너는 이스라엘 族屬(족속)에게 이르기를 너희가 말하여 이르되 우리의 허물과 罪(죄)가 이미 우리에게 있어 ^ㅅ우리로 그 中(중)에서 衰敗(쇠패)하게 하니 ^ㅇ어찌 能(능)히 살리요 하거니와
    

6. Wo aber der Wächter sähe das Schwert kommen und die Drommete nicht bliese noch sein Volk "warnte," und das Schwert käme und nähme etliche weg: dieselben würden wohl um ihrer Sünden willen weggenommen; aber ihr Blut will ich von des Wächters Hand fordern.
   
7. Und "nun," du "Menschenkind," ich habe dich zum Wächter gesetzt über das Haus "Israel," wenn du etwas aus meinem Munde "hörst," daß du sie von meinetwegen warnen sollst.
   
8. Wenn ich nun zu dem Gottlosen sage: Du Gottloser mußt des Todes sterben! und du sagst ihm solches "nicht," daß sich der Gottlose warnen lasse vor seinem "Wesen," so wird wohl der Gottlose um seines gottlosen Wesens willen sterben; aber sein Blut will ich von deiner Hand fordern.
   
9. Warnst du aber den Gottlosen vor seinem "Wesen," daß er sich davon "bekehre," und er will sich nicht von seinem Wesen "bekehren," so wird er um seiner Sünde "sterben," und du hast deine Seele errettet.
   
10. Darum, du "Menschenkind," sage dem Hause Israel: Ihr sprecht also: Unsre Sünden und Missetaten liegen auf "uns," daß wir darunter vergehen; wie können wir denn leben?
    

6. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.'
   
7. "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.
   
8. When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.
   
9. But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself.
   
10. "Son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'This is what you are saying: "Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?" '
    

11. 主(주) 여호와의 말씀에 ^ㅈ나의 삶을 두고 盟誓(맹서)하노니 ^ㅊ나는 惡人(악인)의 죽는 것을 기뻐하지 아니하고 惡人(악인)이 그 길에서 돌이켜 떠나서 사는 것을 기뻐하노라 이스라엘 族屬(족속)아 ^ㅋ돌이키고 돌이키라 너희 惡(악)한 길에서 떠나라 어찌 죽고자 하느냐 하셨다 하라
    
12. 人子(인자)야 너는 ^ㅌ네 民族(민족)에게 이르기를 ^ㅍ義人(의인)이 犯罪(범죄)하는 날에는 그 義(의)가 救援(구원)치 못할 것이요 ^ㅎ惡人(악인)이 돌이켜 그 惡(악)에서 떠나는 날에는 그 惡(악)이 그를 엎드러뜨리지 못할 것인즉 義人(의인)이 犯罪(범죄)하는 날에는 그 義(의)로 因(인)하여는 살지 못하리라
    
13. 假令(가령) 내가 義人(의인)에게 말하기를 너는 살리라 하였다 하자 그가 그 義(의)를 스스로 믿고 罪惡(죄악)을 行(행)하면 그 모든 義(의)로운 行爲(행위)가 하나도 記憶(기억)되지 아니하리니 그가 그 지은 罪惡(죄악) 中(중) 곧 그 中(중)에서 죽으리라
    
14. 假令(가령) ^ㅏ내가 惡人(악인)에게 말하기를 ^ㅑ너는 죽으리라 하였다 하자 ^ㅓ그가 돌이켜 自己(자기)의 罪(죄)에서 떠나서 法(법)과 義(의)대로 行(행)하여
    
15. ^ㅕ典當物(전당물)을 도로 주며 ^ㅗ抑奪物(억탈물)을 돌려 보내고 ^ㅛ生命(생명)의 律例(율례)를 遵行(준행)하여 다시는 罪惡(죄악)을 짓지 아니하면 그가 丁寧(정녕) 살고 죽지 않을지라
    

11. So sprich zu ihnen: So wahr als ich "lebe," spricht der HERR "HERR," ich habe keinen Gefallen am Tode des "Gottlosen," sondern daß sich der Gottlose bekehre von seinem Wesen und lebe. So bekehret euch doch nun von eurem bösen Wesen. Warum wollt ihr "sterben," ihr vom Hause Israel?
    
12. Und "du," "Menschenkind," sprich zu deinem Volk: Wenn ein Gerechter Böses "tut," so wird's ihm nicht "helfen," daß er fromm gewesen ist; und wenn ein Gottloser fromm "wird," so soll's ihm nicht "schaden," daß er gottlos gewesen ist. So kann auch der Gerechte nicht "leben," wenn er sündigt.
    
13. Denn wo ich zu dem Gerechten "spreche," er soll "leben," und er verläßt sich auf seine Gerechtigkeit und tut "Böses," so soll aller seiner Frömmigkeit nicht gedacht werden; sondern er soll sterben in seiner "Bosheit," die er tut.
    
14. Und wenn ich zum Gottlosen "spreche," er soll sterben und er bekehrt sich von seiner Sünde und "tut," was recht und gut "ist,"
    
15. also daß der Gottlose das Pfand wiedergibt und "bezahlt," was er geraubt "hat," und nach dem Wort des Lebens "wandelt," daß er kein Böses tut: so soll er leben und nicht "sterben,"
    

11. Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?'
    
12. "Therefore, son of man, say to your countrymen, 'The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him when he disobeys, and the wickedness of the wicked man will not cause him to fall when he turns from it. The righteous man, if he sins, will not be allowed to live because of his former righteousness.'
    
13. If I tell the righteous man that he will surely live, but then he trusts in his righteousness and does evil, none of the righteous things he has done will be remembered; he will die for the evil he has done.
    
14. And if I say to the wicked man, 'You will surely die,' but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right--
    
15. if he gives back what he took in pledge for a loan, returns what he has stolen, follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil, he will surely live; he will not die.
    

16. ^ㅜ그의 本來(본래) 犯(범)한 모든 罪(죄)가 記憶(기억)되지 아니하리니 그가 丁寧(정녕) 살리라 이는 法(법)과 義(의)를 行(행)하였음이니라 하라
    
17. 그래도 네 民族(민족)은 말하기를 ^ㅠ主(주)의 길이 公平(공평)치 않다 하는도다 그러나 實狀(실상)은 그들의 길이 公平(공평)치 아니하니라
    
18. ^으萬一(만일) 義人(의인)이 돌이켜 그 義(의)에서 떠나 罪惡(죄악)을 지으면 그가 그 가운데서 죽을 것이고
    
19. ^이萬一(만일) 惡人(악인)이 돌이켜 그 惡(악)에서 떠나 法(법)과 義(의)대로 行(행)하면 그가 그로 因(인)하여 살리라
    
20. 그러나 너희가 이르기를 主(주)의 길이 公平(공평)치 않다 하는도다 이스라엘 族屬(족속)아 ^ㅐ내가 너희의 各其(각기) 行(행)한대로 審判(심판)하리라 하시니라
    

16. und aller seiner "Sünden," die er getan "hat," soll nicht gedacht werden; denn er tut "nun," was recht und gut ist; darum soll er leben.
    
17. Aber dein Volk spricht: Der HERR urteilt nicht "recht," so sie doch unrecht haben. {~}
    
18. Denn wo der Gerechte sich kehrt von seiner Gerechtigkeit und tut "Böses," so stirbt er ja billig darum.
    
19. Und wo sich der Gottlose bekehrt von seinem gottlosen Wesen und "tut," was recht und gut "ist," so soll er ja billig leben.
    
20. Doch sprecht ihr: Der HERR urteilt nicht "recht," so ich doch euch vom Hause Israel einen jeglichen nach seinem Wesen richte. {~}
    

16. None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he will surely live.
    
17. "Yet your countrymen say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But it is their way that is not just.
    
18. If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it.
    
19. And if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live by doing so.
    
20. Yet, O house of Israel, you say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But I will judge each of you according to his own ways."
    

21. ^ㄱ우리가 사로잡힌지 ^ㄴ十(십) 二年(이년) 十月(십월) 五日(오일)에 ^ㄷ예루살렘에서부터 逃亡(도망)하여 온 者(자)가 내게 나아와 말하기를 ^ㄹ그 城(성)이 陷落(함락)되었다 하였는데
    
22. 그 ^ㅁ逃亡(도망)한 者(자)가 내게 나아오기 前(전)날 저녁에 ^ㅂ여호와의 손이 내게 臨(임)하여 내 입을 여시더니 다음 아침 그 사람이 내게 나아올 臨時(림시)에 내 입이 열리기로 내가 다시는 潛潛(잠잠)하지 아니하였노라
    
23. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
    
24. ^ㅅ人子(인자)야 ^ㅇ이 이스라엘 荒蕪(황무)한 땅에 居(거)한 者(자)들이 말하여 이르기를 ^ㅈ아브라함은 오직 한 사람이라도 이 땅을 基業(기업)으로 얻었나니 ^ㅊ우리가 衆多(중다)한즉 더욱 이 땅으로 우리에게 基業(기업)으로 주신 것이 되느니라 하는도다
    
25. 그러므로 너는 그들에게 이르기를 主(주) 여호와의 말씀에 ^ㅋ너희가 피있는 고기를 먹으며 너희 偶像(우상)들에게 ^ㅌ눈을 들며 ^ㅍ피를 흘리니 그 땅이 너희의 基業(기업)이 될까보냐
    

21. Und es begab sich im zwölften Jahr unserer "Gefangenschaft," am fünften Tage des zehnten "Monats," kam zu mir ein Entronnener von Jerusalem und sprach: Die Stadt ist geschlagen.
    
22. Und die Hand des HERRN war über mir des "Abends," ehe der Entronnene "kam," und tat mir meinen Mund "auf," bis er zu mir kam des Morgens; und tat mir meinen Mund "auf," also daß ich nicht mehr schweigen mußte.
    
23. Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:
    
24. Du "Menschenkind," die Einwohner dieser Wüsten im Lande Israel sprechen also: Abraham war ein einziger Mann und erbte dies Land; unser aber sind "viele," desto billiger gehört das Land uns zu.
    
25. Darum sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR HERR: Ihr habt Blutiges gegessen und eure Augen zu den Götzen aufgehoben und Blut vergossen: und ihr "meint," ihr wollt das Land besitzen?
    

21. In the twelfth year of our exile, in the tenth month on the fifth day, a man who had escaped from Jerusalem came to me and said, "The city has fallen!"
    
22. Now the evening before the man arrived, the hand of the LORD was upon me, and he opened my mouth before the man came to me in the morning. So my mouth was opened and I was no longer silent.
    
23. Then the word of the LORD came to me:
    
24. "Son of man, the people living in those ruins in the land of Israel are saying, 'Abraham was only one man, yet he possessed the land. But we are many; surely the land has been given to us as our possession.'
    
25. Therefore say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Since you eat meat with the blood still in it and look to your idols and shed blood, should you then possess the land?
    

26. ^ㅎ너희가 칼을 믿어 ^ㅏ可憎(가증)한 일을 行(행)하며 各其(각기) 이웃의 아내를 더럽히니 그 땅이 너희의 基業(기업)이 될까보냐 하고
    
27. 너는 그들에게 또 이르기를 主(주) 여호와의 말씀에 ^ㅑ내가 나의 삶을 두고 盟誓(맹서)하노니 荒蕪地(황무지)에 있는 者(자)는 ^ㅓ칼에 엎드러뜨리고 들에 있는 者(자)는 들짐승에게 붙여 먹게 하고 ^ㅕ山城(산성)과 窟(굴)에 있는 者(자)는 瘟疫(온역)에 죽게 하리라
    
28. ^ㅗ내가 그 땅으로 荒蕪地(황무지)와 놀라움이 되게 하고 ^ㅛ그 權能(권능)의 驕慢(교만)을 그치게 하리니 ^ㅜ이스라엘의 山(산)들이 荒蕪(황무)하여 지나갈 사람이 없으리라
    
29. 내가 그들의 行(행)한 모든 可憎(가증)한 일로 因(인)하여 그 땅으로 荒蕪地(황무지)와 놀라움이 되게 하면 그 때에 ^ㅠ그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 하라
    
30. 人子(인자)야 ^으네 民族(민족)이 담 곁에서와 집 門(문)에서 너를 議論(의논)하며 各各(각각) 그 兄弟(형제)로 더불어 말하여 이르기를 자, 가서 여호와께로부터 무슨 말씀이 나오는가 들어보자 하고
    

26. Ja, ihr fahret immer fort mit Morden und übet "Greuel," und einer schändet dem andern sein Weib; und ihr "meint," ihr wollt das Land besitzen?
    
27. So sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR HERR: So wahr ich "lebe," sollen "alle," so in den Wüsten "wohnen," durchs Schwert fallen; und die auf dem Felde "sind," will ich den Tieren zu fressen geben; und die in den Festungen und Höhlen "sind," sollen an der Pestilenz sterben.
    
28. Denn ich will das Land ganz verwüsten und seiner Hoffart und Macht ein Ende "machen," daß das Gebirge Israel so wüst "werde," daß niemand dadurchgehe. {~} {~}
    
29. Und sie sollen "erfahren," daß ich der HERR "bin," wenn ich das Land ganz verwüstet habe um aller ihrer Greuel "willen," die sie üben. {~} {~}
    
30. Und "du," "Menschenkind," dein Volk redet über dich an den Wänden und unter den "Haustüren," und einer spricht zum andern: Kommt doch und laßt uns "hören," was der HERR sage! {~} {~} {~}
    

26. You rely on your sword, you do detestable things, and each of you defiles his neighbor's wife. Should you then possess the land?'
    
27. "Say this to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: As surely as I live, those who are left in the ruins will fall by the sword, those out in the country I will give to the wild animals to be devoured, and those in strongholds and caves will die of a plague.
    
28. I will make the land a desolate waste, and her proud strength will come to an end, and the mountains of Israel will become desolate so that no one will cross them.
    
29. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have made the land a desolate waste because of all the detestable things they have done.'
    
30. "As for you, son of man, your countrymen are talking together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, 'Come and hear the message that has come from the LORD.'
    

31. 百姓(백성)이 모이는 것 같이 ^이네게 나아오며 내 百姓(백성)처럼 네 앞에 앉아서 네 말을 들으나 그대로 行(행)치 아니하니 이는 ^ㅐ그 입으로는 사랑을 나타내어도 ^ㄱ마음은 利慾(이욕)을 좇음이라
    
32. 그들이 너를 ^ㄴ音樂(음악)을 잘하며 고운 音聲(음성)으로 사랑의 노래를 하는 者(자) 같이 여겼나니 ^ㄷ네 말을 듣고도 遵行(준행)치 아니하거니와
    
33. ^ㄹ그 말이 應(응)하리니 應(응)할 때에는 ^ㅁ그들이 한 先知者(선지자)가 自己(자기) 가운데 있었던 줄을 알리라
    

31. Und sie werden zu dir kommen in die Versammlung und vor dir sitzen als mein Volk und werden deine Worte "hören," aber nicht darnach tun; sondern sie werden sie gern in ihrem Munde "haben," und gleichwohl fortleben in ihrem Geiz.
    
32. Und "siehe," du mußt ihnen sein wie ein liebliches "Liedlein," wie "einer," der eine schöne Stimme hat und wohl spielen kann. Also werden sie deine Worte hören und nicht darnach tun.
    
33. Wenn es aber "kommt," was kommen "soll," "siehe," so werden sie "erfahren," daß ein Prophet unter ihnen gewesen ist.
    

31. My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to listen to your words, but they do not put them into practice. With their mouths they express devotion, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain.
    
32. Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice.
    
33. "When all this comes true--and it surely will--then they will know that a prophet has been among them."
