1. ^ㅜ七月(칠월)에 王(왕)의 宗親(종친) 엘리사마의 孫子(손자) 느다냐의 아들 王(왕)의 長官(장관) 이스마엘이 열 사람과 함께 ^ㅠ미스바로 가서 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게 이르러 미스바에서 함께 ^으떡을 먹다가
   
2. ^이느다냐의 아들 이스마엘과 그와 함께 한 열 사람이 일어나서 바벨론 王(왕)의 ^ㅐ그 땅 總督(총독)으로 세운 바 사반의 孫子(손자) 아히감의 아들 그다랴를 칼로 쳐죽였고
   
3. 이스마엘이 또 미스바에서 그다랴와 함께한 모든 유다人(인)과 거기 있는 갈대아 軍士(군사)를 죽였더라
   
4. 그가 그다랴를 죽인 지 이틀이 되었어도 이를 아는 사람이 없었더라
   
5. 때에 사람 八十名(팔십명)이 ^ㄱ그 鬚髥(수염)을 깎고 ^ㄴ옷을 찢고 몸을 傷(상)하고 손에 素祭物(소제물)과 乳香(유향)을 가지고 ^ㄷ세겜과 ^ㄹ실로와 ^ㅁ사마리아에서부터 와서 ^ㅂ여호와의 집으로 나아가려 한지라
   

1. Aber im siebenten Monat kam "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," des Sohnes "Elisamas," aus königlichem "Stamm," einer von den Obersten des "Königs," und zehn Männer mit ihm zu "Gedalja," dem Sohn "Ahikams," gen Mizpa und sie aßen daselbst zu Mizpa miteinander.
   
2. Und "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," macht sich auf samt den zehn "Männern," die bei ihm waren und schlugen "Gedalja," den Sohn "Ahikams," des Sohnes "Saphans," mit dem Schwert zu "Tode," darum daß ihn der König zu Babel über das Land gesetzt hatte;
   
3. dazu alle "Juden," die bei Gedalja waren zu "Mizpa," und die "Chaldäer," die sie daselbst "fanden," alle "Kriegsleute," schlug Ismael.
   
4. Des andern "Tages," nachdem Gedalja erschlagen war und es noch niemand "wußte,"
   
5. kamen achtzig Männer von "Sichem," von Silo und von Samaria und hatten die Bärte abgeschoren und ihre Kleider zerrissen und sich zerritzt und trugen Speisopfer und Weihrauch mit "sich," daß sie es brächten zum Hause des HERRN.
   

1. In the seventh month Ishmael son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, who was of royal blood and had been one of the king's officers, came with ten men to Gedaliah son of Ahikam at Mizpah. While they were eating together there,
   
2. Ishmael son of Nethaniah and the ten men who were with him got up and struck down Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, with the sword, killing the one whom the king of Babylon had appointed as governor over the land.
   
3. Ishmael also killed all the Jews who were with Gedaliah at Mizpah, as well as the Babylonian soldiers who were there.
   
4. The day after Gedaliah's assassination, before anyone knew about it,
   
5. eighty men who had shaved off their beards, torn their clothes and cut themselves came from Shechem, Shiloh and Samaria, bringing grain offerings and incense with them to the house of the LORD.
   

6. 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘이 그들을 迎接(영접)하러 ^ㅅ미스바에서 나와서 울며 行(행)하다가 그들을 만나 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게로 가자 하여
   
7. 그들이 城(성) 中央(중앙)에 이를 때에 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘이 自己(자기)와 함께 한 사람들로 더불어 그들을 죽여 구덩이에 던지니라
   
8. 그 中(중)에 열 사람은 이스마엘에게 이르기를 ^ㅇ우리가 밀과 보리와 기름과 꿀을 밭에 감추었으니 우리를 죽이지 말라 하였으므로 그가 그치고 그들을 그 兄弟(형제)와 함께 죽이지 아니하였더라
   
9. 이스마엘이 그다랴에게 屬(속)한 사람들을 죽이고 그 屍體(시체)를 던진 구덩이는 ^ㅈ아사 王(왕)이 이스라엘 王(왕) 바아사를 두려워하여 팠던 것이라 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘이 그 죽인 屍體(시체)로 거기 채우고
   
10. 미스바에 남아 있는 ^ㅊ王(왕)의 딸들과 모든 百姓(백성) 곧 侍衛(시위) 大將(대장) ^ㅋ느부사라단이 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게 委任(위임)하였던 바 미스바에 남아 있는 모든 百姓(백성)을 사로잡되 곧 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘이 그들을 사로잡고 ^ㅌ암몬 子孫(자손)에게로 가려하여 떠나니라
    

6. Und "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," ging heraus von Mizpa ihnen "entgegen," ging daher und weinte. Als er nun an sie "kam," sprach er zu ihnen: Ihr sollt zu "Gedalja," dem Sohn "Ahikams," kommen.
   
7. Da sie aber mitten in die Stadt "kamen," ermordete sie "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," und die "Männer," so bei ihm "waren," und warf sie in den Brunnen.
   
8. Aber es waren zehn Männer "darunter," die sprachen zu Ismael: Töte uns nicht; wir haben Vorrat im Acker liegen von "Weizen," "Gerste," Öl und Honig. Also ließ er ab und tötete sie nicht mit den andern.
   
9. Der Brunnen "aber," darein Ismael die Leichname der Männer "warf," welche er hatte erschlagen samt dem "Gedalja," ist "der," den der König Asa machen ließ wider "Baesa," den König Israels; den füllte "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," mit den Erschlagenen.
   
10. Und was übriges Volk war zu "Mizpa," auch die "Königstöchter," führte "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," gefangen weg samt allem übrigen Volk zu "Mizpa," über welche "Nebusaradan," der "Hauptmann," hatte gesetzt "Gedalja," den Sohn "Ahikams," und zog hin und wollte hinüber zu den Kindern Ammon. {~} {~} {~} {~}
    

6. Ishmael son of Nethaniah went out from Mizpah to meet them, weeping as he went. When he met them, he said, "Come to Gedaliah son of Ahikam."
   
7. When they went into the city, Ishmael son of Nethaniah and the men who were with him slaughtered them and threw them into a cistern.
   
8. But ten of them said to Ishmael, "Don't kill us! We have wheat and barley, oil and honey, hidden in a field." So he let them alone and did not kill them with the others.
   
9. Now the cistern where he threw all the bodies of the men he had killed along with Gedaliah was the one King Asa had made as part of his defense against Baasha king of Israel. Ishmael son of Nethaniah filled it with the dead.
   
10. Ishmael made captives of all the rest of the people who were in Mizpah--the king's daughters along with all the others who were left there, over whom Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam. Ishmael son of Nethaniah took them captive and set out to cross over to the Ammonites.
    

11. 가레아의 아들 ^ㅍ요하난과 그와 함께 있는 모든 ^ㅎ軍隊(군대) 長官(장관)이 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘의 行(행)한 모든 惡(악)을 듣고
    
12. 모든 사람을 데리고 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘과 싸우러 가다가 ^ㅏ기브온 큰 ^ㅑ물가에서 그를 만나매
    
13. 이스마엘과 함께 있던 모든 百姓(백성)이 가레아의 아들 요하난과 그와 함께 한 모든 軍隊長官(군대장관)을 보고 기뻐한지라
    
14. 이에 ^ㅓ미스바에서 이스마엘에게 捕虜(포로)되었던 그 모든 百姓(백성)이 돌이켜 가레아의 아들 요하난에게로 돌아가니
    
15. 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘이 여덟 사람과 함께 요하난을 避(피)하여 암몬 子孫(자손)에게로 가니라
    

11. Da aber "Johanan," der Sohn "Kareahs," erfuhr und alle Hauptleute des "Heeres," die bei ihm "waren," all das "Übel," das "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," begangen "hatte,"
    
12. nahmen sie zu sich alle Männer und zogen "hin," wider "Ismael," den Sohn "Nethanjas," zu streiten; und trafen ihn an dem großen Wasser bei Gibeon.
    
13. Da nun alles "Volk," so bei Ismael "war," sah den "Johanan," den Sohn "Kareahs," und alle die Hauptleute des "Heeres," die bei ihm "waren," wurden sie froh.
    
14. Und das ganze "Volk," das Ismael hatte von Mizpa "weggeführt," wandte sich um und kehrte wiederum zu "Johanan," dem Sohne Kareahs.
    
15. Aber "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," entrann dem Johanan mit acht "Männern," und zog zu den Kindern Ammon. {~}
    

11. When Johanan son of Kareah and all the army officers who were with him heard about all the crimes Ishmael son of Nethaniah had committed,
    
12. they took all their men and went to fight Ishmael son of Nethaniah. They caught up with him near the great pool in Gibeon.
    
13. When all the people Ishmael had with him saw Johanan son of Kareah and the army officers who were with him, they were glad.
    
14. All the people Ishmael had taken captive at Mizpah turned and went over to Johanan son of Kareah.
    
15. But Ishmael son of Nethaniah and eight of his men escaped from Johanan and fled to the Ammonites.
    

16. 가레아의 아들 요하난과 그와 함께하는 모든 軍隊(군대) 長官(장관)이 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘이 아히감의 아들 그다랴를 죽이고 미스바에서 잡아간 모든 남은 百姓(백성) 곧 軍士(군사)와 ^ㅕ女人(녀인)과 幼兒(유아)와 宦官(환관)을 기브온에서 빼앗아 가지고 돌아와서
    
17. 애굽으로 가려 하여 떠나 ^ㅗ베들레헴 近處(근처)에 있는 ^ㅛ게롯김함에 머무렀으니
    
18. 이는 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘이 ^ㅜ바벨론 王(왕)의 그 땅 總督(총독)으로 세운 아히감의 아들 그다랴을 죽였으므로 그들이 갈대아人(인)을 두려워함이었더라
    

16. Und "Johanan," der Sohn "Kareahs," samt allen Hauptleuten des "Heeres," so bei ihm "waren," nahmen all das übrige "Volk," so sie wiedergebracht hatten von "Ismael," dem Sohn "Nethanjas," aus Mizpa zu sich (weil "Gedalja," der Sohn "Ahikams," erschlagen "war)," nämlich die "Kriegsmänner," Weiber und die Kinder und "Kämmerer," so sie von Gibeon hatten wiedergebracht;
    
17. und zogen hin und kehrten ein zur Herberge "Chimhams," die bei Bethlehem "war," und wollten nach Ägypten ziehen vor den Chaldäern.
    
18. Denn sie fürchteten sich vor "ihnen," weil "Ismael," der Sohn "Nethanjas," "Gedalja," den Sohn "Ahikams," erschlagen "hatte," den der König zu Babel über das Land gesetzt hatte. {~} {~}
    

16. Then Johanan son of Kareah and all the army officers who were with him led away all the survivors from Mizpah whom he had recovered from Ishmael son of Nethaniah after he had assassinated Gedaliah son of Ahikam: the soldiers, women, children and court officials he had brought from Gibeon.
    
17. And they went on, stopping at Geruth Kimham near Bethlehem on their way to Egypt
    
18. to escape the Babylonians. They were afraid of them because Ishmael son of Nethaniah had killed Gedaliah son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon had appointed as governor over the land.
