1. 유다 王(왕) 요시야의 아들 ^ㅠ여호야김 四年(사년)에 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 말씀이 臨(임)하니라 가라사대
   
2. 너는 ^으두루마리 冊(책)을 取(취)하여 ^이내가 네게 말하던 날 곧 요시야의 날부터 오늘까지 이스라엘과 ^ㅐ유다와 ^ㄱ列邦(열방)에 對(대)하여 ^ㄴ나의 네게 이른 모든 말을 그것에 記錄(기록)하라
   
3. ^ㄷ유다 族屬(족속)이 내가 그들에게 내리려한 모든 災殃(재앙)을 듣고 ^ㄹ各其(각기) 惡(악)한 길에서 돌이킬듯 하니라 그리하면 ^ㅁ내가 그 惡(악)과 罪(죄)를 赦(사)하리라
   
4. 이에 예레미야가 네리야의 아들 ^ㅂ바룩을 부르매 바룩이 예레미야의 口傳(구전)대로 여호와께서 그에게 이르신 모든 말씀을 두루마리 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)하니라
   
5. 예레미야가 바룩을 命(명)하여 가로되 나는 ^ㅅ監禁(감금)을 當(당)한지라 여호와의 집에 들어갈 수 없은즉
   

1. Im vierten Jahr "Jojakims," des Sohnes "Josias," des Königs in "Juda," geschah dies Wort zu Jeremia vom HERRN und sprach:
   
2. Nimm ein Buch und schreibe darein alle "Reden," die ich zu dir geredet habe über "Israel," über Juda und alle Völker von der Zeit "an," da ich zu dir geredet "habe," nämlich von der Zeit Josias an bis auf diesen Tag;
   
3. ob vielleicht die vom Hause "Juda," wo sie hören all das "Unglück," das ich ihnen gedenke zu "tun," sich bekehren "wollten," ein jeglicher von seinem bösen "Wesen," damit ich ihnen ihre Missetat und Sünde vergeben könnte.
   
4. Da rief Jeremia "Baruch," den Sohn Nerias. Derselbe Baruch schrieb in ein Buch aus dem Munde Jeremia's alle Reden des "HERRN," die er zu ihm geredet hatte.
   
5. Und Jeremia gebot Baruch und sprach: Ich bin "gefangen," daß ich nicht kann in des HERRN Haus gehen.
   

1. In the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD:
   
2. "Take a scroll and write on it all the words I have spoken to you concerning Israel, Judah and all the other nations from the time I began speaking to you in the reign of Josiah till now.
   
3. Perhaps when the people of Judah hear about every disaster I plan to inflict on them, each of them will turn from his wicked way; then I will forgive their wickedness and their sin."
   
4. So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and while Jeremiah dictated all the words the LORD had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.
   
5. Then Jeremiah told Baruch, "I am restricted; I cannot go to the LORD'S temple.
   

6. 너는 들어가서 나의 口傳(구전)대로 두루마리에 記錄(기록)한 여호와의 말씀을 ^ㅇ禁食日(금식일)에 여호와의 집에 있는 百姓(백성)의 귀에 朗讀(랑독)하고 유다 모든 城(성)에서 온 者(자)들의 귀에도 朗讀(랑독)하라
   
7. 그들이 여호와 앞에 祈禱(기도)를 드리며 各其(각기) 惡(악)한 길을 떠날듯 하니라 여호와께서 이 百姓(백성)에 對(대)하여 宣布(선포)하신 怒(노)와 忿(분)이 크니라
   
8. 네리야의 아들 바룩이 무릇 先知者(선지자) 예레미야의 自己(자기)에게 命(명)한대로하여 여호와의 집에서 冊(책)에 있는 여호와의 말씀을 朗讀(랑독)하니라
   
9. 유다 王(왕) 요시야의 아들 ^ㅈ여호야김의 五年(오년) ^ㅊ九月(구월)에 예루살렘 모든 百姓(백성)과 유다 城邑(성읍)들에서 예루살렘에 이른 ^ㅋ모든 百姓(백성)이 여호와 앞에서 禁食(금식)을 宣布(선포)한지라
   
10. 바룩이 여호와의 집 윗뜰 곧 ^ㅌ여호와의 집 새門(문) 어귀의 곁에 있는 ^ㅍ사반의 아들 ^ㅎ書記官(서기관) 그마랴의 ^ㅏ房(방)에서 그 冊(책)에 있는 예레미야의 말을 朗讀(랑독)하여 모든 百姓(백성)에게 들리니라
    

6. Du aber gehe hinein und lies das "Buch," darein du des HERRN Reden aus meinem Munde geschrieben "hast," vor dem Volk im Hause des HERRN am "Fasttage," und sollst sie auch lesen vor den Ohren des ganzen "Juda," die aus ihren Städten hereinkommen;
   
7. ob sie vielleicht sich mit Beten vor dem HERRN demütigen wollen und sich "bekehren," ein jeglicher von seinem bösen Wesen; denn der Zorn und Grimm ist "groß," davon der HERR wider dies Volk geredet hat.
   
8. Und "Baruch," der Sohn "Nerias," tat "alles," wie ihm der Prophet Jeremia befohlen "hatte," daß er die Reden des HERRN aus dem Buche läse im Hause des HERRN.
   
9. Es begab sich aber im fünften Jahr "Jojakims," des Sohnes "Josias," des Königs "Juda's," im neunten "Monat," daß man ein Fasten verkündigte vor dem HERRN allem Volk zu Jerusalem und allem "Volk," das aus den Städten Juda's gen Jerusalem kommt.
   
10. Und Baruch las aus dem Buche die Reden Jeremia's im Hause des "HERRN," in der Kapelle "Gemarjas," des Sohnes "Saphans," des "Kanzlers," im obern "Vorhof," vor dem neuen Tor am Hause des "HERRN," vor dem ganzen Volk.
    

6. So you go to the house of the LORD on a day of fasting and read to the people from the scroll the words of the LORD that you wrote as I dictated. Read them to all the people of Judah who come in from their towns.
   
7. Perhaps they will bring their petition before the LORD, and each will turn from his wicked ways, for the anger and wrath pronounced against this people by the LORD are great."
   
8. Baruch son of Neriah did everything Jeremiah the prophet told him to do; at the LORD'S temple he read the words of the LORD from the scroll.
   
9. In the ninth month of the fifth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, a time of fasting before the LORD was proclaimed for all the people in Jerusalem and those who had come from the towns of Judah.
   
10. From the room of Gemariah son of Shaphan the secretary, which was in the upper courtyard at the entrance of the New Gate of the temple, Baruch read to all the people at the LORD'S temple the words of Jeremiah from the scroll.
    

11. 사반의 孫子(손자)요 그마랴의 아들인 미가야가 그 冊(책)에 있는 여호와의 말씀을 다 듣고
    
12. 王宮(왕궁)에 내려가서 書記官(서기관)의 房(방)에 들어가니 모든 方伯(방백) 곧 書記官(서기관) ^ㅑ엘리사마와 스마야의 아들 ^ㅓ들라야와 악볼의 아들 ^ㅕ엘라단과 사반의 아들 그마랴와 ^ㅗ하나냐의 아들 시드기야와 모든 方伯(방백)이 거기 앉았는지라
    
13. 미가야가 바룩의 百姓(백성)의 귀에 冊(책)을 朗讀(랑독)할 때에 들은 모든 말로 그들에게 告(고)하매
    
14. 이에 모든 方伯(방백)이 구시의 曾孫(증손) ^ㅛ셀레먀의 孫子(손자) 느다냐의 아들 여후디를 바룩에게 보내어 이르되 너는 百姓(백성)의 귀에 朗讀(랑독)한 두루마리를 손에 가지고 오라 네리야의 아들 바룩이 두루마리를 손에 가지고 그들에게로 가매
    
15. 그들이 바룩에게 이르되 앉아서 이를 귀에 朗讀(랑독)하라 바룩이 그들 귀에 朗讀(랑독)하매
    

11. Da nun "Michaja," der Sohn "Gemarjas," des Sohnes "Saphans," alle Reden des HERRN gehört hatte aus dem "Buche,"
    
12. ging er hinab in des Königs "Haus," in die Kanzlei. Und "siehe," daselbst saßen alle Fürsten: "Elisama," der "Kanzler," "Delaja," der Sohn "Semajas," "Elnathan," der Sohn "Achbors," "Gemarja," der Sohn "Saphans," und "Zedekia," der Sohn "Hananjas," samt allen Fürsten.
    
13. Und Michaja zeigte ihnen an alle "Reden," die er gehört "hatte," da Baruch las aus dem Buche vor den Ohren des Volks.
    
14. Da sandten alle Fürsten "Judi," den Sohn "Nethanjas," des Sohnes "Selemjas," des Sohnes "Chusis," nach Baruch und ließen ihm sagen: Nimm das Buch daraus du vor dem Volk gelesen "hast," mit dir und komme! Und "Baruch," der Sohn "Nerias," nahm das Buch mit sich und kam zu ihnen.
    
15. Und sie sprachen zu ihm: Setze dich und "lies," daß wir es hören! Und Baruch las ihnen vor ihren Ohren.
    

11. When Micaiah son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, heard all the words of the LORD from the scroll,
    
12. he went down to the secretary's room in the royal palace, where all the officials were sitting: Elishama the secretary, Delaiah son of Shemaiah, Elnathan son of Acbor, Gemariah son of Shaphan, Zedekiah son of Hananiah, and all the other officials.
    
13. After Micaiah told them everything he had heard Baruch read to the people from the scroll,
    
14. all the officials sent Jehudi son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, to say to Baruch, "Bring the scroll from which you have read to the people and come." So Baruch son of Neriah went to them with the scroll in his hand.
    
15. They said to him, "Sit down, please, and read it to us." So Baruch read it to them.
    

16. 그들이 그 모든 말씀을 듣고 놀라서 서로 보며 바룩에게 이르되 ^ㅜ우리가 이 모든 말을 王(왕)에게 告(고)하리라
    
17. 그들이 또 바룩에게 물어 가로되 네가 그 口傳(구전)하는 이 모든 말을 어떻게 記錄(기록)하였느뇨 請(청)컨대 우리에게 이르라
    
18. 바룩이 對答(대답)하되 그가 그 입으로 이 모든 말을 내게 베풀기로 ^ㅠ내가 먹으로 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)하였노라
    
19. 이에 方伯(방백)들이 바룩에게 이르되 너는 가서 예레미야와 함께 숨고 너희 있는 곳을 사람에게 알리지 말라 하니라
    
20. 그들이 두루마리를 ^으書記官(서기관) 엘리사마의 房(방)에 두고 뜰에 들어가 王(왕)께 나아가서 이 모든 말로 王(왕)의 귀에 告(고)하니
    

16. Und da sie alle die Reden "hörten," entsetzten sie sich einer gegen den andern und sprachen zu Baruch: Wir wollen alle diese Reden dem König anzeigen.
    
17. Und sie fragten Baruch: Sage "uns," wie hast du alle diese Reden aus seinem Munde geschrieben?
    
18. Baruch sprach zu ihnen: Er sagte vor mir alle diese Reden aus seinem "Munde," und ich schrieb sie mit Tinte ins Buch.
    
19. Da sprachen die Fürsten zu Baruch: Gehe hin und verbirg dich mit "Jeremia," daß niemand "wisse," wo ihr seid.
    
20. Sie aber gingen hin zum König in den Vorhof und ließen das Buch behalten in der Kammer "Elisamas," des "Kanzlers," und sagten vor dem König an alle diese Reden.
    

16. When they heard all these words, they looked at each other in fear and said to Baruch, "We must report all these words to the king."
    
17. Then they asked Baruch, "Tell us, how did you come to write all this? Did Jeremiah dictate it?"
    
18. "Yes," Baruch replied, "he dictated all these words to me, and I wrote them in ink on the scroll."
    
19. Then the officials said to Baruch, "You and Jeremiah, go and hide. Don't let anyone know where you are."
    
20. After they put the scroll in the room of Elishama the secretary, they went to the king in the courtyard and reported everything to him.
    

21. 王(왕)이 여후디를 보내어 두루마리를 가져오게 하매 여후디가 書記官(서기관) 엘리사마의 房(방)에서 가져다가 王(왕)과 王(왕)의 곁에 선 모든 方伯(방백)의 귀에 朗讀(랑독)하니
    
22. 때는 ^이九月(구월)이라 王(왕)이 ^ㅐ겨울 宮殿(궁전)에 앉았고 그 앞에는 불피운 火爐(화로)가 있더라
    
23. 여후디가 三(삼) 篇(편) 四(사) 篇(편)을 朗讀(랑독)하면 王(왕)이 小刀(소도)로 그것을 連(연)하여 베어 火爐(화로) 불에 던져서 온 두루마리를 태웠더라
    
24. 王(왕)과 그 臣下(신하)들이 이 모든 말을 듣고도 ^ㄱ두려워하거나 ^ㄴ그 옷을 찢지 아니하였고
    
25. ^ㄷ엘라단과 들라야와 그마랴가 ^ㄹ王(왕)께 두루마리를 사르지 말기를 懇求(간구)하여도 王(왕)이 듣지 아니하였으며
    

21. Da sandte der König den "Judi," das Buch zu holen. Der nahm es aus der Kammer "Elisamas," des Kanzlers. Und Judi las vor dem König und allen "Fürsten," die bei dem König standen.
    
22. Der König aber saß im "Winterhause," im neunten "Monat," vor dem Kamin.
    
23. Wenn aber Judi drei oder vier Blatt gelesen "hatte," zerschnitt er es mit einem Schreibmesser und warf es ins "Feuer," das im Kaminherde "war," bis das Buch ganz verbrannte im "Feuer,"
    
24. und niemand entsetzte sich noch zerriß seine "Kleider," weder der König noch seine "Knechte," so doch alle diese Reden gehört "hatten,"
    
25. und wiewohl "Elnathan," Delaja und Gemarja den König "baten," er wolle das Buch nicht "verbrennen," gehorchte er ihnen doch nicht.
    

21. The king sent Jehudi to get the scroll, and Jehudi brought it from the room of Elishama the secretary and read it to the king and all the officials standing beside him.
    
22. It was the ninth month and the king was sitting in the winter apartment, with a fire burning in the firepot in front of him.
    
23. Whenever Jehudi had read three or four columns of the scroll, the king cut them off with a scribe's knife and threw them into the firepot, until the entire scroll was burned in the fire.
    
24. The king and all his attendants who heard all these words showed no fear, nor did they tear their clothes.
    
25. Even though Elnathan, Delaiah and Gemariah urged the king not to burn the scroll, he would not listen to them.
    

26. 王(왕)이 ^ㅁ王(왕)의 아들 여라므엘과 아스리엘의 아들 스라야와 압디엘의 아들 ^ㅂ셀레먀를 命(명)하여 書記官(서기관) ^ㅅ바룩과 先知者(선지자) 예레미야를 잡으라 하였으나 여호와께서 그들을 숨기셨더라
    
27. 王(왕)이 두루마리와 바룩이 예레미야의 口傳(구전)으로 記錄(기록)한 말씀을 불사른 後(후)에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 臨(임)하니라 가라사대
    
28. 너는 다시 다른 두루마리를 가지고 유다 王(왕) 여호야김의 불사른 첫 두루마리의 모든 말을 記錄(기록)하고
    
29. 또 유다 王(왕) 여호야김에 對(대)하여 이같이 말하기를 여호와의 말씀에 그가 이 두루마리를 불사르며 말하기를 ^ㅇ네가 어찌하여 바벨론 王(왕)이 丁寧(정녕)히 와서 이 땅을 滅(멸)하고 사람과 짐승을 이 땅에서 없어지게 하리라 하는 말을 이 두루마리에 記錄(기록)하였느뇨 하도다
    
30. 그러므로 나 여호와가 유다 王(왕) 여호야김에 對(대)하여 이같이 말하노라 ^ㅈ그에게 ^ㅊ다윗의 位(위)에 앉을 者(자)가 없게 될것이요 ^ㅋ그 屍體(시체)는 버림을 입어서 낮에는 더위, 밤에는 추위를 當(당)하리라
    

26. Dazu gebot noch der König "Jerahmeel," dem "Königssohn," und "Seraja," dem Sohn "Asriels," und "Selemja," dem Sohn "Abdeels," sie sollten "Baruch," den "Schreiber," und "Jeremia," den "Propheten," greifen. Aber der HERR hatte sie verborgen.
    
27. Da geschah des HERRN Wort zu "Jeremia," nachdem der König das Buch und die "Reden," so Baruch geschrieben aus dem Munde "Jeremia's," verbrannt "hatte," und sprach:
    
28. Nimm dir wiederum ein anderes Buch und schreib alle vorigen Reden "darein," die im ersten Buche "standen," welches "Jojakim," der König "Juda's," verbrannt "hat,"
    
29. und sage von "Jojakim," dem König Juda's: So spricht der HERR: Du hast dies Buch verbrannt und gesagt: Warum hast du darein "geschrieben," daß der König von Babel werde kommen und dies Land verderben und "machen," daß weder Leute noch Vieh darin mehr sein werden?
    
30. Darum spricht der HERR von "Jojakim," dem König Juda's: Es soll keiner von den Seinen auf dem Stuhl Davids "sitzen," und sein Leichnam soll hingeworfen des Tages in der Hitze und des Nachts im Frost liegen;
    

26. Instead, the king commanded Jerahmeel, a son of the king, Seraiah son of Azriel and Shelemiah son of Abdeel to arrest Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet. But the LORD had hidden them.
    
27. After the king burned the scroll containing the words that Baruch had written at Jeremiah's dictation, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
    
28. "Take another scroll and write on it all the words that were on the first scroll, which Jehoiakim king of Judah burned up.
    
29. Also tell Jehoiakim king of Judah, 'This is what the LORD says: You burned that scroll and said, "Why did you write on it that the king of Babylon would certainly come and destroy this land and cut off both men and animals from it?"
    
30. Therefore, this is what the LORD says about Jehoiakim king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and the frost by night.
    

31. 또 ^ㅌ내가 그와 그 子孫(자손)과 臣下(신하)들을 그들의 罪惡(죄악)을 因(인)하여 罰(벌)할 것이라 내가 일찍 그들과 예루살렘 居民(거민)과 유다 사람에게 宣布(선포)하였으나 그들이 듣지 아니한 그 모든 災殃(재앙)을 내리리라 하셨다 하라
    
32. 이에 예레미야가 다를 두루마리를 取(취)하여 네리야의 아들 書記官(서기관) ^ㅍ바룩에게 주매 그가 유다 王(왕) 여호야김의 불사른 冊(책)의 모든 말을 예레미야의 口傳(구전)대로 ^ㅎ記錄(기록)하고 그 外(외)에도 그 같은 말을 많이 더 하였더라
    

31. und ich will ihn und seinen Samen und seine Knechte heimsuchen um ihrer Missetat willen; und ich will über sie und über die Bürger zu Jerusalem und über die in Juda kommen lassen all das "Unglück," davon ich ihnen geredet "habe," und sie gehorchten doch nicht.
    
32. Da nahm Jeremia ein anderes Buch und gab's "Baruch," dem Sohn "Nerias," dem Schreiber. Der schrieb darein aus dem Munde Jeremia's alle die "Reden," so in dem Buch "standen," das "Jojakim," der König "Juda's," hatte mit Feuer verbrennen lassen; und zu denselben wurden dergleichen Reden noch viele hinzugetan.
    

31. I will punish him and his children and his attendants for their wickedness; I will bring on them and those living in Jerusalem and the people of Judah every disaster I pronounced against them, because they have not listened.'"
    
32. So Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to the scribe Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated, Baruch wrote on it all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.
