1. ^ㅎ모압에 關(관)한 警告(경고)라 하루 밤에 모압 ^ㅏ알이 亡(망)하여 荒廢(황폐)할 것이며 하루 밤에 모압 ^ㅑ길이 亡(망)하여 荒廢(황폐)할 것이라
   
2. 그들은 바잇과 ^ㅓ디본 山堂(산당)에 올라가서 울며 모압은 ^ㅕ느보와 메드바를 爲(위)하여 ^ㅗ痛哭(통곡)하도다 그들이 各各(각각) 머리털을 ^ㅛ없이 하였고 鬚髥(수염)을 깎았으며
   
3. 거리에서는 굵은 베로 몸을 동였으며 지붕과 넓은 곳에서는 各其(각기) 哀痛(애통)하여 甚(심)히 울며
   
4. ^ㅜ헤스본과 엘르알레는 부르짖으며 그 소리는 ^ㅠ야하스까지 들리니 그러므로 모압의 戰士(전사)가 크게 부르짖으며 그 魂(혼)이 속에서 떨도다
   
5. 내 마음이 모압을 爲(위)하여 부르짖는도다 그 貴人(귀인)들은 소알과 에글랏 슬리시야로 逃亡(도망)하여 울며 루힛 ^으비탈길로 올라가며 호로나임 길에서 敗亡(패망)을 부르짖으니
   

1. Dies ist die Last über Moab: Des Nachts kommt Verstörung über Ar in Moab; sie ist dahin. Des Nachts kommt Verstörung über Kir in Moab; sie ist dahin.
   
2. Sie gehen hinauf gen Baith und Dibon zu den "Altären," daß sie "weinen," und heulen über Nebo und Medeba in Moab. Aller Haupt ist kahl "geschoren," aller Bart ist abgeschnitten.
   
3. Auf ihren Gassen gehen sie mit Säcken umgürtet; auf ihren Dächern und Straßen heulen sie alle und gehen weinend herab.
   
4. Hesbon und Eleale "schreien," daß man's zu Jahza hört. Darum wehklagen die Gerüsteten in Moab; denn es geht ihrer Seele übel.
   
5. Mein Herz schreit über "Moab," seine Flüchtigen fliehen bis gen "Zoar," bis zum dritten Eglath. Denn sie gehen gen Luhith hinan und "weinen," und auf dem Wege nach Horonaim zu erhebt sich ein Jammergeschrei.
   

1. An oracle concerning Moab: Ar in Moab is ruined, destroyed in a night! Kir in Moab is ruined, destroyed in a night!
   
2. Dibon goes up to its temple, to its high places to weep; Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba. Every head is shaved and every beard cut off.
   
3. In the streets they wear sackcloth; on the roofs and in the public squares they all wail, prostrate with weeping.
   
4. Heshbon and Elealeh cry out, their voices are heard all the way to Jahaz. Therefore the armed men of Moab cry out, and their hearts are faint.
   
5. My heart cries out over Moab; her fugitives flee as far as Zoar, as far as Eglath Shelishiyah. They go up the way to Luhith, weeping as they go; on the road to Horonaim they lament their destruction.
   

6. ^이니므림 물이 마르고 풀이 시들었으며 軟(연)한 풀이 말라 靑靑(청청)한 것이 없음이로다
   
7. ^ㅐ그러므로 그들이 얻은 財物(재물)과 쌓았던 것을 가지고 버드나무 시내를 건너리니
   
8. 이는 哭聲(곡성)이 모압 四方(사방)에 둘렸고 슬피 부르짖음이 에글라임에 이르며 부르짖음이 브엘엘림에 미치며
   
9. ^ㄱ디몬 물에는 피가 가득함이로다 그럴지라도 내가 디몬에 災殃(재앙)을 더 내리되 모압에 逃避(도피)한 者(자)와 그 땅의 남은 者(자)에게 ^ㄴ獅子(사자)를 보내리라
   

6. Denn die Wasser zu Nimrim "versiegen," daß das Gras verdorrt und das Kraut verwelkt und kein Grünes wächst.
   
7. Denn das "Gut," das sie gesammelt "haben," und "alles," was sie verwahrt "haben," führt man über den Weidenbach.
   
8. Geschrei geht um in den Grenzen Moabs; sie heulen bis gen Eglaim und heulen bei dem Born Elim.
   
9. Denn die Wasser zu Dimon sind voll Blut. Dazu will ich über Dimon noch mehr kommen "lassen," über "die," so erhalten sind in "Moab," einen "Löwen," und über die übrigen im Lande.
   

6. The waters of Nimrim are dried up and the grass is withered; the vegetation is gone and nothing green is left.
   
7. So the wealth they have acquired and stored up they carry away over the Ravine of the Poplars.
   
8. Their outcry echoes along the border of Moab; their wailing reaches as far as Eglaim, their lamentation as far as Beer Elim.
   
9. Dimon's waters are full of blood, but I will bring still more upon Dimon--a lion upon the fugitives of Moab and upon those who remain in the land.
